What about 1,4-Pentandiol (PDO) ?

GBL --> GHB /// GVL --> GHV
1,4-BDO --> GHB /// 1,4-PDO --> GHV ????

The 1,4-butanediol when it's ingested, its convert into 4-hydroxybutanal before GHB by the same enzyms which transform ethanol of drinks. And I think the 1,4-pentanediol propably take the same way to form GHV.

Anyone tried or have infos about PDO ?

This is just to have information because PDO is rare, diffucult to get and more toxic/bad than GHV.
