Mushrooms and Lingering Visuals
SWIM got sum bomb shrooms and did 7 grams one day, then he had a crazy trip and once it wore of he went home but didnt sleep the whole night, the next day he didnt do anything but hang out until the night time when he scored sum coke and did sum, then this is wut happened
the mushroom morphing visuals came back, but he was seeing snakes all over the place, he thought for the longest time they were real. this wasnt no mushroom visuals, he was looking at a snake and it approached a sleeping bird, he didnt think it was real and didnt care, then the snake grabbed the bird and ate it, he could see a huge lump in the snake after, he would look at light poles and think they were dinosaurs until he was standing 20 feet away from the lightpole, he could see the reflection of light in the snakes eyes sumtimes, he saw a giant frog jumping around, about a hundred other "prehistoric creatures" that he never ever seen before, he looked at a garbage bag and thoght it wus a guy tying his shoes, he saw a naked dude waking carying a hockey bag, he would walk but never actually move, when my friend got home he looked at his TV and seen an asian guy yellig at him (no audio hallucinations tho), another guy that was there tried to step on the snakes to prove they werent there, but he would just miss everytime" bottom line, does anyone know if BOMBAY shrooms, and good quality coke, and a definite lack of sleep can cause these kind of hallucinations. for the longest time SWIM thought they were real until the mornign came and he wasnt tripping no more BTW, all of this was during the night, if that has to do with anything. |

Perhaps SWIY's general exhaustion increased his anxiety levels and this triggered an unusual response. SWIM once dug into some cocaine after a shrooms session and found the visuals coming back, almost more intensely for seconds at a time, and felt very weak physically, tripping over at one stage, as if he were on a strong dissociative. It's probably not a good combo, shrooms + coke. What happened to SWIY is perfectly understandable. Just rest up and ignore it.

swim would say it's common to not sleep after a trip as you need time to intergrate the experience.swim thinks the lack of sleep and cocaine were the cuase of your hullucinations.

I have no clue what bombay shrooms are. If they are cubensis, then 7 grams dried is a massive dose. Normally some bud would be enough to bring back the trip. Even days later bud will have some psychedelic effect. So, the shrooms(psilocin) must be active at some level in the days thereafter. Add the massive dose taken, the sleep deprivation and cocaine use to this and then it seems one can expect such bizarre after effects.

Maybe I'm weird, but I get odd visual phenomena when I'm merely sleep deprived, drugs or no drugs. Shrooms seem to linger for a day or two, or perhaps its just the imagination still reveling in the novelty of whatever was seen.
E.g. the static fields you can see over large areas of black/shadow at night are intensified by marijuana and can produce some visual "hallucinations" that are more mental/introspective than anything else. Seeing the "atoms" or patterns in the shadows while high seems to linger to some degree until all the THC leaves the system. To SWIM, of course. |
