tested herbal k

So swim just got that herbal k today and tested it with his Marquis...Swim looked at the Erowid vault at all the possible color changes and doesnt see one.
Marquis= went from a bright yellow to a orangish-brown to a dark brown..
not sure any ideas?..deffinatly didnt look like a DXM test though.
