This is a little article I read in The Globe and Mail. Kind of an interesting tidbit.

"Did you know that lemurs and capuchins get high on millipedes?" writes Alan Boyles in The Independent on Sunday. "Apparently the Cheech and Chongs of the animal world pass them around like a joint, the millipedes release powerful defensive chemicals and the monkeys get stoned. This gem of pub trivia was gleaned from 'Party Animals,' a recent debate about animal pleasure held at the Dana Centre (http://www.danacentre.org.uk)."

Anybody know what the defensive chemicals are?
