Hinchley amendment
The amendment to stop harassing medical marijuana patients in the eleven states failed today; 259 against to 163 for. Watched the whole debate on c-span this afternoon. The republicans kept on talking about marijuana being a gateway drug, cocaine and meth addiction figures. Rep. Hinchley and a few other democrats telling that this amendment is not legalization but for the protection of sick people from the stormtroopers.
