Re: How old is to old ?
Never!Swim is going to use opiates and opiods til he dies.Perhaps if swim found something that put him at peace or made him happy he would stop but that isn't likely.

Re: How old is to old ?
SWIM will stop when he starts talking like an old person "Back in my day when weed was better" etc.
But weed seems to be getting better and there is so much variety that probably will never happen Most hard drugs SWIM will give up in the coming years as he gets bored of them. It happened with speed, cocaine and mdma already. SWIM will most likely just smoke weed and take opiates when older. Hell if he lives to be "old" he will be hopefully getting his opiates prescribed for all those nagging pains that comes with being old

Re: How old is to old ?
Boy that is a mind boggler to swim. She probably won't to some degree. Swim also gets bored with 1 drug and moves on to something different. Swim keeps saying she is done and then isn't really done later on if that makes sense. Swim is old enough to stop lying to herself and be responsible however where she wasn't when she was a young swimmer.

Quote:
I really have never heard of opiates increasing your life span but this I do know, when not used in moderation can sure cut off your life span. Opiates have good and bad things about them. Addiction and tolerance is bad, for pain issues is the good. Swim can't take opiates but knows a lot of people that do.

Re: How old is to old ?
labmonkey rarely does drugs these days. He imagines his use will increase in the future when he has his own little plot of land to start his entheogen garden and is no longer a broke student, thus able to afford further explorations of new substances. He has been fascinated by altered states of consciousness all his life and gets a great deal out of psychedelic substances for healing, guidance, and, yes, entertainment and pleasure. Psychonautics have long been his passion. He doesn't see this changing due to his hairline further receding

Re: How old is to old ?
The cat will never stop using psychoactives altogether..she finds the benefits of cannabis (relaxation, pain killer, meditative, fun, etc) too good to give up for any reason. Her use of psychedelics will increase (she hasn't done very many at this point, and is interested in further exploration..) as life goes on as she sees these as spiritual and personal tools for insight, clarity, and a reminder of the beauty many others will never experience.
As for other things..they don't really tickle her fancy as much as cannabis and psychedelics do. Coke, meth, alcohol, opiates, blah blah blah..she can do without them, although MDMA will more than likely stay in the picture, sparingly of course.. |
