An alleged member of the Native Mob gang was sentenced Friday in federal court in Minneapolis to more than 30 years in prison for several offenses.
Gordon David Reese, 30, was convicted earlier this year of assault, possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, as well as possession of a firearm as an armed career criminal. Convicted previously of three separate violent felonies, he was subject to a minimum sentence of 15 years.
The U.S. attorney's office said that the latest offenses occurred in July 2005 when Reese, an Ojibwe tribal member, attended a party at the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota
