Confiscated Salvia divinorum

SWIM got searched the other day by cops and was found to be carrying a reasonable amount of Salvia, cops didnt know wat it was so took it for "testing" (I'd like to see the results if that test involved smoking it, but i digress!) The country SWIM lives in has not yet classified Salvia so it is legal. How much of a chance would SWIM have of gettin his S back off the cops?

Similar thing happened to a friend of mine. So he went to the police station and told them he wanted to report the theft of personal property. They took down his report and then asked him if he had any idea who had committed the crime. He gave them the name of the cop who had taken his ZYX.

They returned his property. Other than something as ballsy as that, you could get a lawyer and sue them for it.

Sue the cops EH>?!!! Not a bad idea! SWIM might try what ur friend did, he has badge numbers and names! THanks!

I'm guessing not much of one at all. My friends have had that happen to them many times, not once getting it back. One time a friend was smoking it out of a pipe as a cop walked up, and the cop took it and smelled it and decided to search all 10 or so of us because of it. He found nothing and took the pipe and salvia anyway. Another time one of my friends actually had a pipe he used tobacco for with him, and that was taken away too!

I'm in the US. If you are too, cops are different everywhere, never know what they'll do.
