Your views on rating books

You will find a new section of the forum. The book review forum. As you will see, the setup is different from the rest of the forum.

I have to set which qualities books will be rated on. What do you think is important? Writing style, informativity, etc.

Bravo Alfa!
The book section is a great idea and considering the character of the forum I think that it should be limited to books that somehow are related to the use/abuse of substances.
I think that it should have two sub sections: one for fiction and biographies and one for non fiction and social-scientific-historical works.
Beside the review or commentary on the book it would be intresting to have the possibility to discuss the book in question with other people who have read it.
One more idea Alfa,I donīt want to sound like a greedy philistine, but to cover some of the costs of running the forum you could have a link with amazon (or maybe some other internet bookstores) and you would get a percentage for every book sold through that link. Iīve heard that some webmaster makes quite a packet that way.

I have a question too: - Can anybody post a review and suggest a book or itīs necessary to be in the upper echelons of the forum hyerarchy?-

I'll add more sections as more book reviews come in.
Anyone can post a book review, except the writers, publishers of the book. Ratings on your review affect your reputation. I expect reviews to have a large positive impact on reputation.
Please look at the coffeeshop review section: Test review: Abraxas, Amsterdam You can rate coffeeshops on atmosphere, price, service, food & drinks, etc.
I will add the same for rating books. But what qualities would you rate books on?
I will add amazon to the book reviews. In fact I already added amazon links to the info pages, but almost no one used it yet: http://www.drugs-forum.com/magic-mushrooms-books.html
