Morning Glory extract question

SWIM was recently on a trip to wal-mart for flavored tooth picks when his friend pointed out he could just make his own using mint extract. Well today SWIM was reading the bottle and found out it was 90% alcohol. Could SWIM use it instead of high proof alcohol's like everclear to yeild lsa?
