Nubain is a relativly potent analgesic similar in dosages to that of morphine. It is an antagonist/agonist and is very effective at relieving pain. It is also known as Nalbuphine.
Naloxone is a drug used to counter the effects of opioid overdose. It is a strong antoagonist and gives no analgesic effects, it does not relieve pain and will commonly precipitate withdrawal in an opiate dependant person. It is also known to increase pain in patients/subjects currently suffering. I dont really understand your question, there is a wealth of information on both. Could you be a little more specific on what you are trying to compare here... |

Naloxone is added in the liquid form of the pain killer Tilidin to prevent it from being abused, since it is an opiod antagonist when used IV instead of oral withdrawel symptoms are induced.
