Meth turns purple?

SWIM had some shit that turns blue in a glass smoking pipe and other shit that turned purple on a soda can (not both the same shit) that was inverted and used as a spoon for IV. SWIM did the shit anyway and no ill effects SWIM knows of, can anyone explain? BTW my Another person did the same meth only mixed in a plastic spoon and she experienced no color change.

The metal in the can cause a reaction with the chemicals in the dope. Same thing with silver plated spoons.

I don't shoot it but have seen people mix it quite a few times on a soda can turned upside down. It turned purple because the ink used to stamp some sort of code on the bottom of the can washed off like instantly into the mix turning it purple. Think the color in your pipe is from antihistamines present in your finished product, left over from pills that weren't cleaned well enough. But hey, I'm just a old tweeker, I could be wrong.

meth sometimes changes colors because of chemical contamination from the cooking process. it may have been home cooked and poisoned from different amounts of chemicals. when it mixed with the metal in the can it caused the color change. if this is the case, it was poison, but it may not have been toxic enogh to cause much damage. i could be wrong though.

Tripolidine is also known to have a residual effect. As well as iodine. Japan dryer used back in the day in the TCE/JD method of pill extraction was also known bring into the mix a heavy metal which left behind a blue tint.

Swim had stuff he'd aquired in plstic bag and the print off the bag was transfered on to the stuff. Like paint remover.
