Cat Scans Of Peoples' Brains Who Use Drugs

I was looking at this. And it looks like Alcohol does more damage to your brain than Meth will ever do. Look at the pictures, it's almost scary!!

thats interesting, just the other day SWIM was telling people that alcohol would cause more damage, and that the studies claiming major brain damage from meth or e were flawed and probably would have to be redone. SWIM hasnt seen convincing evidence that amphetamines actually damage the brain, now granted, maybe SWIM hasnt read the right studies, but he is under the impression that out of all drugs, only alcohol and inhalants can truly kill brain cells en masse like those old "informative" drug education commercials used to claim.

an interesting caveat to this link is that changes in function seem to be interpreted as "damage", whereas SWIM would read damage as being irreversible, and beyond the direct or lingering effect of a drug recently done. however, the researcher that wrote this page is coming from an anti-drug standpoint, so keep that in mind when interpreting the images for SWIYselves.

Well I think Meth is not as bad on your brain as it is for your body. Meth will do alot of damage to your liver, your heart, your kidneys, all around Meth is alot worse tho. But I see nothing wrong with doing it every once in a while"
