Getting the dosage right

Many people say "less is more" when it comes to X.
Some say 2mg/kg is the best dose. But how can anyone know how many mg's which are in a pill .

Do they need to send it to analyses, or is there some clue I haven't gotten yet?

Pills are a gamble that's for sure. It's impossible to tell how much MDMA is in a pill by just looking at it. Your best bet would be to buy a pill testing kit.

^ A testing kit indicates the presence of various drugs, it does not indicate quantity. Only a GC_MS or other lab analysis can do that.

With cocaine, I know you can separate away all of the "fillers". With various techniques.

Think you could do the same with MDMA? and just weigh what's left when that's done

Agree with the above, but its most likely that SWIY will not do an A/B or get a test-kit. If so, start with 1/2 a pill or less to make sure that the pill is not making SWIY feel bad. If everything is OK and it feels good, then have some more. The only thing is(at least in SWIMS point of wiew), the first dose is the most important one, but nevertheless there will be a good time if the pills are good. Pure may be the wrong word for it, but at least make sure they are not dangerous. If they make SWIY feel good, emotional and very happy(as well as very fucked up, they are probably containing MDMA or relatives(as well as some meth if SWIY is unlucky, unless that is what SWIY is looking for). If/when SWIY tries them, please report back as SWIM finds it interesting!
