Just thought it was funny that both these comments came in the same post. Class though he is, Tiesto sold out, and killed trance in the process. Proof? Love Comes Again. Tiesto caught red handed over Trances dead body. Still, gotta love him.

SWIM and a few friends have spent hours argueing about cheesy music on drugs (both argueing while on drugs, and argueing while sober about music on drugs). Siffice to say, a lot of these guys know their shit about dance music. The song in question most of the time is Sweetness. SWIM simply doesnt like it, up or down. But SWIM is described as a \\\"music fascist\\\". If SWIM decides it cheesy, he wont like it, ever. If its by an artist he has a grievance with, he wont like it. Recently hes stopped liking Tiesto because he sold out, even though he loved it before.

Meanwhile his friends, who he admits know dance music even better then him, can still enjoy cheese (Sweetness) if theyre rolling, despite hating it sober. So..... to each his own I guess.

Back on topic, Ive downloaded a lot of music which people here recommended lately, and James Holden is excellent. Real emotional trance, and not cheesy at all.

Check out the 2 disc album Dreamstates. Theres alot of big trance artists in there and the music seems to be exceptionally passionate (while a little corny). Seems to be a huge connection with E and corniness not seeming soo corny in alot of music. (ex. Happy hardcore)
