Smoke café's in Canada

For those who want to go to Canada where are good places to stay. Is it just BC and Vancouver or is Ontario and Toronto good. Seems like many seed shops in both places. How are the smoke cafes there. Swib knows cannabis can not be purchased but can be openly smoked? Or are there places it is sold now?

As far as SWIS knows, Vancouver does have a few coffeeshops where they allow the smoking of marijuana. Toronto does have one too that SWIS heard of, but SWIS is unsure whether or not they allow it. SWIM wouldn't recommend going to Toronto just use marijuana. The marijuana in Toronto is of pretty low quality (in general) and the authorities are a lot more strict then in Vancouver. Hope this helped in any way.

Just like anywhere T-dot weed can be reallly good, but isn't a Weed Vacation destination. In fact Van does have lots of good weed and places you can smoke it, but don't go ANYWHERE in canada just for the weed. Weed would be a bonus, not the sole purpose. There are even Hotels in Van that cater to the pot tourist, but there is so much more. If you are curious about Canada I have lived in just about every province. Feel free to send me a PM or post your Q's.

Try West Hastings Street in Vancouver. That's where a lot of the cannabis-related shops are. If you're in Hamilton, try to visit the Up In Smoke Cafe. They were raided a few months ago and need as much cashflow as possible from customers.

Re: Canada

As well as having a BOMB ass ethnobotanical shop, the BCMP (British Columbia Marijuana Party) on East Hastings in Vancouver has a tasty vapor lounge in the back. But if swiy's looking for a more social "bar" like setting, The New Amsterdam Cafe is right next door. Both have a bring your own bud policy, the vape lounge charges 5 bucks CND. Swim also thinks that the New Amsterdam just started a thing where you have to buy at least 2 bucks CND worth of snacks to smoke there.

Re: Smoke café's in Canada

Toronto has got some good spots. I've found you can smoke nearly anywhere and not get in shit (Of course as long as your not doing somthing stupid or like smoking in a playground when kids are there or making it obvious if you see a cop). Some good spots include: The Hotbox Cafe in Kensington Market, you can smoke weed there on the back patio and since theres a smoking ban everywhere in Ontario indoors they have vaporizers inside to smoke. They don't sell weed ofcourse though its half bongshop half restraunt. They're always playing sick music and usually really interesting people go there. Definatly best spot in TO. Aside form that theres some really nice bongshops. The friendly Stranger on Queen st. West being the ebst and THC on Yonge being up there too. Lotsa nice grassy parks to smoke in too and noone really cares at all. I've walked down Yonge street smoking joints and really noone cares. So yeah TO is no Amsterdam but its pretty good if your a pot head.

Re: Smoke café's in Canada

I've heard of kidred cafe but never actually checked it out. Now that you've reminded me I'll have to hit it up. Also have yet to check out the vapour lounge. I've been to the new THC location but i'll have to add the vapour lounge to my list of places to chck out. I'm out of thecity for the summer but will be back living in TO come september.
