Swims last experience with codeine was very rewarding, he walked home by a different way and found himself in a nature reserve. A large lake surrounded by grassy banks populated by swans and geese met his eyes. He felt like he'd stumbled upon shangi-la. He walked round the edges sowing seeds and went home feeling fine.

SWIM decided, as both his house mates are elsewhere, to try codeine for the first time this weekend.

He used the cold water extraction process, and finally found that stacking two or three coffee filters on top of each other led to a very clean, clear product after the first run through, but did it three times anyway, since he's the paranoid sort.

On Saturday, he filtered 8 8/500 tablets, which he may well have used too much water with, but it seemed to come out ok. After tasting the result, he immediately nipped up to the corner shop and returned with cream soda and blackcurrant squash. After adding a reasonable amount of both, he drank the solution. About half an hour later, he felt heavy and relaxed and lay around watching tv for some hours. Even into the evening, he found that his normal twitchy boredom wasn't around and he enjoyed the experiance.

On Sunday, he tried the same with 38 tablets (the remainder of his stash) , and was surprised to feel pretty much the same results, even though the dosage was significantly higher. He certainly felt drowsier, but otherwise, the same kind of 'wrapped in cotton wool' feeling of just being comfy, which he feels is a bit odd, but as he had been taking co-codamol for the past week in various quantities to get over some pretty severe post-exam hangovers, he feels that its probably a tolerance issue.

The feeling was definitely enjoyable. The feeling of well-being was dramatic and relaxing. SWIM thinks its a similar experience to being stoned, but he often finds himself being either bored or sleepy when he smokes weed. The codeine on the other hand definitely made him feel like he was happy exactly where he was, laid on the sofa watching random things on tv. That's definitely been the main feeling. The gentleman in question could certainly still do other things, but it seemed like the sofa was just the perfect place to be.

He thinks that doing this again is a great idea, next time he has some free time away from his house mates, who probably wouldn't object as such, but SWIM feels that the rolled eyes and general passive aggressive disapproval would knock the whole experience down a notch.

SWIM procured twelve 30/300 codeine/apap tablets. SWIM began by eating six.

About 30 minutes later, the familiar opiate euphoria was there, albeit much less pronounced. Itchiness was extreme during the coming-on effects of the drug. Within an hour the itchiness had subsided to tolerable levels (where SWIM wasn't scratching himself red).

This was SWIM's first pure codeine experience (SWIM has done poppy tea before) and SWIM says it's pretty decent. It's better than tramadol or darvocet, and it's natural! It's alot like Morphine Jr. in that it feels alot like morphine but the effects are alot less pronounced. SWIM can't understand why this isn't OTC in the USA (30/300).

SWIM feels pretty energetic, with minimal changes in his pupils. No euphoria or well beeing is felt. SWIM has no tolerance to opioids (Tramadol (200mg) 10 times within the last 3 mounths)
and does not feel high at all. Swim is only experiencing some urinary retardation but can urinate and some pain releife but can feel pain as normal if he pintches
him self. This was SWIMS first codeine experiance. Any suggestions what SWIM can change or add to feel the euphoria other swims is feeling? Is SWIM missing something?

SWIM is a new member and has been using opiates for the better part of 3 years, ranging from codeine to fentanyl, and has as recently as 20 minutes ago preformed a CWE on 38 tylenol 1 tablets. The result is 304mg codeine, a bit of which she is sure was lost during CWE.

T + 0:20 - warm tingles, bitter taste in the throat (swim has regularly expressed how nasty the taste is) but in general, good warm sense of well-being. Swim is going to play some mindless GTA for a few hours, smoke a few cigarettes, and relax. It is 4AM at the time and SWIM does tend to do opiates after midnight, as she is a night owl. =x

Swim doesn't have much to say on the experience, it is pretty much the same as many pleased reporters have already stated in this thread, but she does have a couple tips..

a) Swim generally tends to smoke a bowl (marijuana) during the onset of many opiates when she feels nausea is not avoidable, and it helps GREATLY. five or so minutes from now she will be out back doing this i think- the first waves of nausea are already present. It is something Swim nearly always experiences even when dosing on a relatively-full stomach, though sometimes she is lucky.

b) Swim had better success drinking this horribly bitter tasting mixture tonight in comparison to previous nights, and just thought she would mention that adding a packet or two of those little drink mix (ones you pour into your water bottle to make juice or w/e) things helped greatly. And plugging Swim's nose before each gulp helped a lot.. obviously
