Health - Lethal dose of Vodka?

I have a preety funny question for everyone! How much vodka would u have to drink for it to be considerd suicide attempt! haha altho the purpose of this post isnt a suicide but also is alcohol dangerous while rolling? <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley5.gif">

Alcohol will increase your chances of acute dehydration while rolling. So unless you're careful about drinking water also, it could be very dangerous.


To answer your other question, the amount of vodka one would have to drink for it to be considered a suicide attempt is entirely subjective and would vary from person to person. I know some people who drink that shit like it's water, and some who are severly intoxicated after only a couple of mixed drinks. It depends on the experience of the drinker, how much food was taken in that day, how much the person weighs, etc.


Suicide really isn't all the funny to me. Nothing is so bad that you need to kill yourself over it.

I also dont think suicide is funny, but it is very serious. Maybe we dont think theres things worth killing ourselves, but other people do. And it's sad. Not funny. Although, I know you wernt making fun of all those suicidal maniacs out there.

The "lethal dose" (LD) of alcohol is clinically defined as the amount that would kill half the population (the LD50). Most authorities place the LD50 at about .40% or about four times the current legal limit in most states. However, there are many cases in which death occurred from alcohol poisoning at much lower, and in some cases, much higher levels. For a 100 lb. man or woman drinking very quickly, it would only require about 8-10 drinks in an hour to reach the lethal level.

That would be a rough way to kill yourself. I'd hate to just sit down and drink a gallon of vodka. I'd use a gun.
