Trips to Peru/Amazon

I was wondering if anyone had ben on a trip to Peru or anywhere in the amazon and experienced a real ayahuasca sesssion with a shaman? If so what was the experience like? This is something i have been considering for a long time and would love to hear any first hand experiences.
