Probation Piss test

Ok, so here's the deal, Swim is currently on probation and knows that he is getting tested every Wednesday for pretty much all drugs, including alcohol. Now how can this be? I thought that alcohol went out of your body in a very short time and couldn’t possibly be detected in urine days later, unless maybe you drink a few hours before your drug test. So, SWIM was wondering if he could drink and get away with it as thought or if piss tests do have some way of testing you positive days later.

swim's understanding is that most drug tests test for alcohol, but that alcohol clears out of the system rapidly. within a day or so. swim would definitely avoid drinking a day or two before taking the piss test.

According to Erowid, standard testing can detect it 6-24 hours after drinking, and EtG detection (more expensive and probably not used) is 80-120 hours. But why would they test you for alcohol if it's legal for you? I have a friend that's on probation and gets away with DXM use for that reason.

alcohol is out in a max of 24 hours im on probation too never been caught if the test is on wed. dont drink on tues just monday

Dude, If you get tested for alcohol on a Wenesday then your straight man. You can still drink on the weekendz and get away with it by the time you check in. Your stressin over nothing!!

SWIM has a drug test every Monday, so pretty much SWIMs Sundays are Shot, But his Saterdays arent. SWIY is safe to drink 24 Hours / or on Mondays. If your worryed, just dont drink on Monday.

SWIM's hat really comes off to those who are randomly tested threw the week (call in).

SWIM has a chance to get tested once a month...but it's rare to actually get tested. Keeps SWIM on his toes I suppose.

If alcohol is all that SWIM is doing, he should be ok. But, if SWIM used cocaine, he could be in trouble. Even if it's been long enough for the cocaine not to show up, coca-ethelyene (produced in the liver when you mix alcohol and coke) might. It will show up in your urine for several days. It depends on how many different drugs they are testing you for. SWIM knows of another SWIM who is tested, non-DOT, for a private employer that uses a reputable lab and they test for EVERYTHING they know how to test for.

I used to get drugs and alcohol tests where I worked, at random on probation, they only ever tested new staff because of the cost and the size of the work force.

Anyway, they only tested for alcohol to see if you was drinking either on the job or immediately before, shown by the alcohol levels in your body. Maybe this is the same case here? I think out limit was set just below the UK drink drive limit if I remember correctly.

My pet iguana is on probation and he is going for his first U/A Friday, October 20th. He just spoke with his probation officer and asked her what kind of test he would be having and she said "five panel" which really surprised my iguana... He still is going to stop taking alprazolam and all other chemicals today, the 11th, just in case.

My iguana will believe he is getting a five panel U/A when he sees it.

He figured they would test him for everything... I guess this isn't the case?

Any other pet animals on probation in Texas?
