First two times were nice, for s couple hours. The comedown sucked. Third time took on empty stomach without realizing the consequences, nauseas all damn day. Swim doesn't like it enough to do again, unless its free. It was ok, the nervous energy blows though, not one of swims favorites.

Swim is newly diagnosed with ADD, was first given one 15mg xr morning time. It worked a little till around 1-2pm, then a crash of no energy at all. Swim then a few days later, without doc's knowledge, takes 30mg xr in morning with much better effects as far as focus and attention but no high whatsoever, then at around 2pm that fucking crash again. Swim complains to doc, is prescribed 7.5mg instant release to be taken as needed up to 4 pills daily. Man that don't do shit to swim, also swim neglected to tell doc that swim was a cokehead years ago and swim could snort an 8ball by himself on a weekend night with a little sharing with friends. So swim has a major tolerance he believes, but swim also believes if he tells doc this, doc will shit his pants and do something stupid like tell swim to eat more omega 3 fats instead of taking stimulant meds, motherfuckers are so afraid of getting sued that they're almost impotent in swim's opinion. Could swim use the fact that he is 6ft1in 220lbs at 8% bodyfat, extremely fit, and therefore needs a much higher dose than an average person? What is the highest dose, on average, for normal people or people with a tolerance such as swim that you all have heard of? By the way, swim's goal is not to be high, but to have maximum effects for focus and attention from 5am, when swim rises, till about 8-9pm when swim cuts out. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this novel of a post, lol.

Exactly what swim would do if my insurance covered the xr form of adderall. The initial script cost swim $186 for 30 pills x 15mg brand name adderall xr, a fact swim stupidly forgot to mention in initial post. And swim is a cheap motherfucker when it's all said and done! Swim's insurance only covers the instant release generic amphetamine salts combo which swim's sure swiy already knows is generic addy ir.
Swim would love to say to doc to cough up script for 3 x 30mg ir daily. 1 at 5am, another at about 9am, then last 1 at about 1pm to 2pm, this will start swim crashing around 7pm which is cool since swim is a boring dude with little prospect of getting laid at night by anyone other than wife who is like Mr. Spock of star trek and only needs sex once every seven years.

This is SWIMs first post so id just like to quick say hi to everyone and this is possibly the most informative site on different substances on the net due to everyone's different point of views anyhoo

This is a story I've been mean to write on the net for a while and this seems like a great place to post it. This event took place when I was in 8th grade and I graduated in 2005 so u can get an idea when it was, i guess i was about 13 maybe idk.

I was doing terrible in school so i went to get check for ADD, guess i had it since they gave me a script for Adderall IR twice a day i believe it was 10 mg but i could be wrong. I started on it and school was great but back then i had braces and a terrible haircut lol which wasnt the best for my self esteem so i tried to fake sick as much as possible since i was the main target in my class for humiliation and i did not yet start defending myself till the future

so one morning i took my pill like normal and had a really shitty day from bullying so when i got home i thought about faking sick the next day but my dad was getting good at catching me when i was faking it, and believe me i was good at faking(faked appendix pain earlier that year soo good they actually removed it and i got to stay home for a week).
So my bright 8th grader mind thought about how taking to much Tylenol and shit can make u sick so i thought why not these adderall pills? i took about 2 or 3 and layed down early so it looked like i was sick. Later I told my dad(lying) that i was sick and he didn't believe me so over the course of the whole night i pretended to throw up in the bathroom and took lot more pills. So many i cant even remember how much, then i was laying in my room and shit and around maybe 4 am i was pissed i couldn't get to sleep because back then i didnt know about drugs never did anything. Then i was looking at my hardwood bedroom floor at this big stuffed snake i got when i got my appendix out with and i cant really describe the feeling in words its just something u have to experience in my opinion to fully understand but i seemed to be talking to the stuffed snake thinking it was moving towards me when i wasnt looking directly at it. But for some strange reason i wasnt scared(i was obviously starting to go into psychosis) This went on for a bit which was prob 20 min but seemed like hours.

Then i saw spiders on my floor and i hate spiders and when i looked right at the floor the brown long legged spiders weren't there. then i was like fuck this and put my head under the covers trying to get to sleep then suddenly i heard them around me, like this weird sound spiders make if there piled on top of each other(good example is in the first Texas chainsaw massacre). I was scared shit less! But for some reason i still felt like it wasn't anything unusual.

Then my dad got up and said get ready for school. I went downstairs on the dark winter morning where my dad was making breakfast and i looked down at the ugly old brown carpet connected to my kitchen and saw some weird bug, completely white, I've never seen before(mind must have created it) and was like "dad look at that bug!" he didn't see anything and just looked confused, then suddenly out of no where, BUGS ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND WALLS EVERYWHERE! All different types of bugs and spiders, all white, crawling and moving everywhere and it seemed like i had super hearing because all i could hear was them moving, not my dad screaming what's wrong, nothing. I can say confidently that that very moment was the scariest moment and the greatest moment of terror in my whole life. After that 3 seconds of fear which lasted much longer in my mind i jumped onto the kitchen chair and then i could hear my dad saying that i was having an allergic reaction and he called 911. It felts like hours until the ambulance got there. when they got there i was still on the chair so my dad had to carry my to the ambulance. Once I got to the hospital i didn't see the bugs anymore and they started to put that charcoal tube down my throat and they gave some type of injection to calm me down. That injection combined with the overdose put me in this vivid dream like world. I t was like i was floating to the sky to get to some point but couldn't make it. After that hospital stay i recovered fine but every time i think about those bugs i just get a little shiver.

I really apologize for the terrible grammar and post length i just got into a typing mood and typed every word that came into mind. It could have been much shorter and got to the point faster.

Has anyone else experienced bugs??

It burned my eyes reading, it, ffs please use paragraph spacing... I pretty sure your not supposed to take that many adderalls for your first drug while your 13! Come on man, wtf, don't you read, write, or think? How did the doctors over at the hospital not know you were on drugs, I'm pretty sure your in some deepshit right now. You've been trippin on some diet coke there, take it easy, how old are you know? I'm sorry about your shit life but really, doing drugs as anti depressants will get you fucked in life. 1 dose of adderall will make SWIM not sleep until like 4 am when taken 4-7 hours beforehand. More than 3 would be unimaginable. Read up on the chemistry of adderall and overdosing and you'll find why your having those bugs.

For Swim, her adderall experiences at work are good and bad.

Good because the obvious...ability to do tedious tasks in a fraction of the time, focus, personality, social, on task, etc

but..swim has a question. When she takes adderall at work she is sometimes overwhelmed by paranoia. she thinks everyone knows, or they can tell by looking at her. swim tells herself its not meth, (even though a chemical cousin), and people are prescribed this.. (to temporarily ease).

Swims question is, has swiy observed someone on adderall, and noticed distinguishable differences between a sober user and hopped-up user? if it really is as obvious as swims paranoia is letting on, swim is going to stop completely. swim feels like she can hide it, but is still apprehensive..

SWIMs first time taking adderall was one of the funniest times he has ever had. Normally SWIM is a shy and quiet person, most of the time. One day, SWIM decided to ask his friend, who he knew had a scrip, if he could buy some from him.

The day SWIM took it, he started feeling the rush about an hour after eating a 20. At lunch that day, he went to his house with his friends, and talked for the entire hour, while SWIMs friends watched him laughing. On the way back to school, SWIM and his friends drove past a semitruck that had a phone number on the mudflaps. SWIM called that phone number and asked if they could rent or lease a vehicle. SWIM was sent to another line, and the answering machine picked up. SWIM screamed at the people for having poor customer service, and said things that should not be said. After that, SWIM found he was sitting on a Taco Bell employees hat. He put it on. He forgot that it was on, and walked in to school with it on. The effect wore off 2 hours later.

I think I'm gonna stick with "I" instead of swim.

I've never been able to concentrate in school and have always done pretty well in school but it was definitely a challenge. I have a hard time concentrating on almost anything for more than a few mins. I have also been depressed since I was 12 or 13, I am now 18. I have been on anti-depressants but they never really helped much and I always stopped taking them. For the past 9 months I haven't taken any anti-depressants and have been dealing with a lot of anger and extreme sadness. I come home from school or work and just want to sleep.

So today I thought I would try taking an adderall. I had a 15 page paper to write and had spent 8 hours yesterday working on it and only got to page 4. I've heard a lot of people take adderall to do good in school.

So I took a 20 mg at noon before I had my poli sci class. I wasn't sure if it was going to kick in or not by the time I got out of class but it definitely did. I always hate watching movies becasue I get bored after the first 10 mins. But we were watching a movie in class today and after about 45 minutes I became so interested in it. Which is very strange for me.

I drove home and turned on my computer to work on my essay and in the mean time ended up cleaning half my room. (i've lived with my grandparents for over 3 months and this is the first time i've ever cleaned it). I jsut felt this need to be doing something all the time. Once my computer turned on I started my essay and after about an hour my friend called me and said she had more I could buy from her if I wanted to since I had only bought one.

So I left my essay and went to go get it from her. Normally I am very quiet and don't really like to talk to people a lot. I get really uncomfortable around people i don't know very well and hate it. On the drive to her house about 20 mins, I realized how happy I felt, like truly happy. I felt like I had when I was younger before I started to get pretty depressed, it was amazing. I became the sociable person I used to be. When I picked up my friend, who I was not close to at all and normally just gave her money and then she would come back later with my druges, I ended up going in the car with her and actually enjoying talking to her.

After that I drove home and finished my essay in about an hour. i wrote 10 pages in that time and the day before it took me 8 hours to write 4. It was insane. Then I cleaned my room, almost cleaner then it was when I moved in!

It was about 5:30 then and my grandma called me to dinner. The food just sat there and looked so repulsive. I hate a little bit so my grandma wouldn't get suspicious but she seemed to anyways. I normally eat quite a bit and have always tended to eat my emotions. I'm not skinny but i'm definetly not obese. But what i'm trying to say is that it was weird for me to be so repulsed by food. I was actually rather greatful tho.

Then I went back to my room and cleaned up a bit more. and did stuff on the computer. i tried to watch tv but it just wasnt ineteresting. I thought this was weird since earlier the movie seemed so interesting. But I guess the aderall was starting to wear off.

I can still feel the affects of adderall now and it is 8 pm. I read that it only lasts like 4 to 6 hours but apparently not. I have a feeling I won't be sleeping tonight but thats alright cuz I don't work tomorrow and I have time realease adderall tomorrow.

So this is an overall of how it felt:

*the first hour I just had this weird feeling and felt kind of fuzzy.

*after the fuzzy feeling wore off I just felt really energized, happy, and just felt like I constantly needed to be doing something...homework, cleaning, etc

*then I realized how truly and genuinely happy I felt, my constant anger and sadness that is always weighing me down was gone for the first time in 5 years. it was amazing, I felt like the person i once was. I felt like myself. Like the real me who I never thought I would ever be again.

*I got sooo much done. Normally I come home and sleep after work or jsut lay down and do nothing. Maybe its the depression but I can never bring myself to get stuff done. I mean I always finish my hw in time but I don't get a lot of other things done. it felt really good to be so productive and get stuff done.

* I have absolutely no appetite and just the thought of food makes me feel sick. My mouth is really dry and even though i've drank very little water, I've had to pee waaay to often.

* After about the first hour and a half I started to get these cold sweats that lasted about 3 hours.

* Right now I feel a little bit less energized but still have the need to keep doing things. My mouth is extremely dry but consuming anything right now doesnt sound very pleasant. Sometimes I feel like my heart is really speeding up but then it goes away. My eyes feel sort of heavy but I can feel in my body that I will not be sleeping anytime soon.

My overall reivew of adderall is that it is amazing. It lifted the wieght of my depression and anger that I have had building up for 5 years. It gave me the energy to get things done and took away my appetite which may not seem positive to all but I tend to overeat so this is helpful to me.

SWIM takes amphetamine regularly, just to reflect on the effects and appreciate the powerful properties of this drug. actually, SWIM just snorted 50mg of crushed adderall quick release about 4 hours ago, and is still feeling some effects. After crushing up the 10 pills (5mg each), SWIM divides the powder into about 8 or 9 lines, and snorts them, one after the other. SWIM instantly tastes the drip in the back of his throat, and after a few minutes, feels the warm amphetamine rush sweep over him. it plateaus for a little while, then wears off a few hours later. SWIM tends to feel very talkative, energetic, and seems to have heightened physical senses and increased inner awareness of his existence. but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to take that much at once (especially snorted) unless you have experience with speed, as SWIM does, and somewhat of a tolerance. SWIM's first amphetamine high was definitely his most intense, even though he had only taken 25 mg. SWIM was a little scared about how powerful it was at first, then eventually settled into this new, amazing feeling. the come-down isn't really that bad, and most of the time SWIM doesn't even really notice it. but SWIM knows first-hand how addicting this potent drug is, but spaces out his amphetamine dosings at least a week between each - every day, and you turn into a speed-freak, and that's never good.

In swim's first experience, he snorted an adderall 30 mg XR. swim crushed the beats ofc. the effects were ever so light but they were noticable. swim was talking not a lot but a lot more than if swim was sober, swim also felt that swim was not shy anymore. the effects were really not that great for swim because swim expected way more. swim was expecting a strong euphoria, instead swim got a feeling of motivation for anything with only a slight euphoria. he was in a room with friends for about 3-4 hours and then he went for a walk. it was weird for swim because it was during the walk that swim felt like swim was on top of the world and that was more than 4 hours after he snorted the pill.
swim has read beforehand about adderall and seen that people crash really hard from this drug. swim never crashed, although swim couldn't fall asleep for about 2 hours, swim woke up the next morning feeling well.

SWIM's first time experience with Adderall:

So SWIM had just been diagnosed ADHD by his psychologist and that diagnosis was confirmed by his psychiatrist so he was scripted his first stimulant medication, Adderall 10mg IR.

SWIM was very excited and feeling amazed that he was holding legal amphetamines for the first time in SWIM's life. He began to realize that he could go into work high on speed and tell his co-workers and boss that he was on amphetamines and they could say or do nothing about it. hehe..
This was fucking going to change everything, awesomeness!!

Before returning to work SWIM took one 10mg IR pill and swallowed it. Shortly after returning to work SWIM noticed he was feeling more "alive" than ever before and he was very happy and confident.

SWIM showed his co-worker friend his new medication and the co-workers eyes got wide as he asked SWIM " does your doctor know that you're an addict?!". SWIM smiled and replied "hell yeah she knows but she still gave me some fun candies to play with".

SWIM noticed that he was super charged, amping hard and euphoric as hell.. zammmblowiii!!!

SWIM went around the office talking to everyone he came across "blah blah blah..." said SWIM "I am on legal speed! <something> <something> <nonsensical>".

SWIM was feeling so fucking good and he noticed that his vision had somehow changed and everything looked slightly different tint of colors which was somehow cool to SWIM.

After SWIM left work he had to go to the massage therapist and then saw his chiropractor to have his back adjusted. This was pretty cool as SWIM was very sociable (SWIM is almost never outgoing/sociable) and had a hot female massage therapist rubbing all over his body with warm oil for 30 minutes in a dark room.

SWIM was flirting hard with the hottie and even told her that he was speeding on Adderall and he felt so good right now. She just laughed at SWIM.
He then had his spine manipulated by the chiropractor which left him feeling so relaxed and pain free, fuckin awesome!

SWIM had only taken 1 -10mg pill at 10:00 AM and was still speeding strong at 4:00 PM. SWIM was haveing the best day he had in years.

SWIM's heart was never beating fast or too hard and SWIM had zero anxiety so the high never got out of SWIM's control (this was an amazing medicine with no bad side-effects!).

SWIM slowly began to feel he was coming down starting around 6:00 PM so he did what any self-respecting SWIM would have done, he decided to take another 10mg Adderall IR.

The second dose never hit SWIM as hard as that first one (no surprise there for SWIM was an experienced drug abuser). So SWIM got on the computer at home and discovered the supreme joys of mixing amphetamines with internet porn! (Fucking holy shit that bitch is amazing!! I can't stop hyper-focusing on hot ass porn!)

SWIM had to take 1mg Xanax (alprazolam) at 10:00 PM to bring him down enough to get some sleep as SWIM had to work the next day.
Overall SWIM had a really great day and from then on SWIM would grow to love his new best buddy (Adderall) and knew that nothing would ever be the same...

first time swim ever heard of/tried adderall was a night not to forget..for his stupidness and pseudo happiness.

swim was on E for the first time (1 pink dolphin). swim cut the E pill into fourths and took them about 20 minutes apart. this was while swim was at home, with his mother, father and sister upstairs. his ride got to his house and went upstairs to say goodbye to his parents, all while on an E come up. swims mother asked him if he was alright and why he was moving so fast. meh, swim got away just fine.

swim then ventured on over to a party at an house he'd never been to before. swim had 2 and half ish beers there.

then one of swim's good buddies pops out this orange pill and tell me to come up stairs with him. he puts these beads on a table and asks swim if he wanted to snort it. swim did.

later on, and more educated swim knows snorting the beads of an XR uncrushed is worthless.

anyway, swim stayed up the entire night. swim doesn't know if it was the E and beer combo or if the addy had any play in it but holy crap and a half swim got so many things accomplished that night!

currently swim has a script for strattera and was..basically, promised.. to be switched to adderall in 3 months if strattera doesn't do anything (..besides make swim vomit).

Okay, this is how it went for SWIM. First he took 2 tums to help increase the bioavailability of the drug. Half an hour later he took an adderall 30mg XR. For him the onset was only about 20 minutes. SWIM felt as though he could do anything and that his whole life was going to turn out exactly the way he wants it to. He felt organized and kinda robotic (like his physical movement were fast, accurate, and rigid). Listening to music was amazing for SWIM, but it had to be a fast paced song. He felt completely aware and "in the moment", like he could appreciate life to a great extent. SWIM found himself to be very talkative which is very unusual, because he usually tries to avoid eye contact with anyone he doesn't speak to regularly. SWIM also found that adderall had really reduced his cigarette cravings, but he smoked anyway which seemed to speed him up even more. He was able to get so much work done without a second thought about it. Adderall made homework fun for SWIM. He ended up taking notes until about 3 am, which is where the downside starts to rear its ugly face. He still felt sped up, but was starting to get confused about simple things. Also, there were mild moments of psychosis where he thought there were people in the hallway whispering about him, but it turned out that he was laying down with his headphones on his chest and thats what he was hearing. He fell asleep around 5 am, and the next day he was groggy, confused, paranoid and had developed a mild case of ADD. But he found that taking supplements like tyrosine, phenylalanine, and st. johns wort helps a lot.

Well swim was prescribed concerta for about 2 months and all was good and tweaked then swim had a nervous breakdown. Then swim was prescribed Adderall XR. It makes him feel awake, happy, tweaked, excited, dry mouth, and awesome. The effects are more intense and awesome on caffeine. LONG LIVE ADDERALL!

One time, SWIM blew like 7 or 8 adderalls and was up all night.
