Injecting - How can one purify street coke for IV injection?

I read 2 long and informative posts mostly talking about purifying street coke with acetone. Is there a method that is, or should be, widely used for purifying street coke a person buys for the purpose of IV injection?

All of that is really unnecessary though given that coke is soluble in water and almost everything people cut coke with is not soluble in water. When the coke dissolves in the water a small cottonball is placed in the solution so when it is sucked up the cottonball catches any particulates that were not dissolved. If you do the prcedure properly your injecting 100% cocaine anyway so to go through the trouble of converting to freebase , then back to Hcl would be unrealistic.

Best idea is rxbandit says is dissolve is distilled water, make sure you get good quality stuff from a person you trust.

Thanks, didn't stop to think that the filter would protect SWIM so much. He always uses one tho.

Sorry to drag up an old post, but in theory if the above is true then it would be possible to dissolve coke in water then filter off the cuts, evaporate the water - leaving coke?

is my understanding incorrect?

Well, SWIM says coke DOES dissolve is in water, but a lot of the cuts DO dissolve in water as well. If you're (kinda) lucky you'll get a bag of coke that is cut with something that doesn't dissolve in water. There's a good chance you'll get a cut that will dissolve in water, in which case you're back at the same place you started.
