Health - cocaine and headaches

SWIM's friend is telling her that she coked up tonight and now has a headache. She feels lightheaded and when she focuses on something her vision gets blurry.

Is this normal??

could it be a cerrebral hemmorhage?

Swim can't say becasue Swim never had anything like that. Swim would like to ask have you eated before swim took any? Or has Swim had a good night sleep before?

Swim is asking becasue the body is a weird thing really depends on how it feels. Swim would say that Swim should just stop thinking a bad thing like a hemrage. What is just paraniod delluseions. Swim gets them alot i thinks he might die. So swim does not do cola anymore becasue of that.

Swim does miss it alot well good luck.

Cocaine raises blood pressure. Raised blood pressure can cause headaches. Raised blood pressure can however also cause cerebral haemorrhage. SWIJ strongly suggests that if SWIB8734 is concerned that they lay off the coke and visit a doctor for a check up.

Sounds like plain old paranoia to me too, but i would give it a rest if i were SWIY. Paranoina heightens any little thing you think is abnormal, like heart palputations, bad paranoia will make you think youre having a heart attack.
But saying that, please tell your friend to listen to what her body is telling her and stop the coke, chill out, calm down. Then think about it when youre sober.

SWIM has a headache after doing cocaine last night. Additionally SWIM did 40mg of focalin over the course of the day. SWIM took 2 tylenol at 4pm and 2 at 8pm and the headache isnt going away. Is there anything SWIM can do it hurts so bad. Keep in mind SWIM has snius problems and gets chronic really bad sinus headaches. SWIM appreciates all help anyone can give swim to make swim's headache feel better.

SWIM's headache cure of choice is Nurofen Plus which is a combination of codeine and ibuprofen. He doesn't get headaches often mind, and is more likely to CWE (Cold Water Extract) the pills just for the occasional codeine buzz. Not sure if there's an OTC equivalent where you live. If all else fails, go with conventional aspirin and sleep it off.

swim has tried smoking freebase (the cocaine//tinfoil [shinny side down]//baking soda//water mix) today for his first time, just about an hour ago he finished the foil which was roughly the size of a cd case. it was only a line's worth of cocaine used as well.

but now swim is on the second foil, and is beginning to have quite a nasty headache, like pressure behind the eyes. swim has somewhat of a cold and is congested, so it may just be sinuses.


does anyone know if the cocaine may be the cause? and is it safe to take an ibuprofin while using the coke?

Don't do ibuprofen, this thins ones blood and speed up the heart even more, which can be lethal with cocaine. Could the headache be a high blood pressure? It is a thing that can happen when smoking cocaine. Blurred vision is another symptom. One can better stop smoking cocaine for a while, when one is ill anyway.

wow, fast response. swim did quit smoking weed and snorting blow for like a week, so swim could get most the way better. just have a little bit of a stopped up nose.

swim doesnt have blurred vision, but does feel as if he's laying on a cloud. just this headache is getting to him. swim will have to just deal with it it looks like. thank you very much pino =)

There is another risk with using cocaine and being sick, it can damage ones heart even more, because some diseases affect ones heart. The combination sickness + ibuprofen and cocaine can kill one. Even sporting + ibuprofen + sickness has proven fatal. (Ever heard of vioxx? It is also a NSAID like ibuprofen.). So better stay off, marijuana is fine.

Probably a bit sick isn't a problem, but swim always think better safe then sorry in those cases.

One can try paracetamol. That one is fine, when one is not drinking to much alcohol.
