SWIM has a friend who has a friend with experience with methylone. A little while ago he took for the first time an "XTC" pill. It had a little jumping panther on it and was kinda purple grey in color.

The effects of this pill were very odd. It took about an hour before any real effects were noted. The first 1.5 hour involved strong feelings of agitation and insecurity. After that a breif 30 min depression stage was entered. From there this person experienced classic methylone happy/epathogenic type effects for about an hour. After that there was another depresion stage that lasted about 1 hour. Then emotions normaled out.

This person does not get effect like this at all from methylone. He get initial effects in 20 min that start with the classic happy/epathogenic effects and this last for about 3 hours. Then a very brief depression stage is entered for about 30 mins. After that emontions stabalize and general stimulation is felt for a few more hours.

This friend knows the drug was or contained some kind of MDMA like compound as the peek of the experience involved classic methylone like effects. But was very suprised by the agitation and depression stage that led up to that. He was also suprised that the happy stage was only about an hour in length. Seemed like alot to go through for such a brief period of fun.

Any idea as to what MDMA analouge shows this profile in it's effects? This person said he has never read about any MDMA type drug that matches this profile.

That sort of thing has happened to SWIM before when he's taken too low a dose of MDMA.

Bongo has seen this happen before as well. The dose/response curve of MDMA is rather tight. Especially on the lower end. It tends to give the monkey a mild agitated state - rather then breaking through to the clarity.

If more is used than the monkey can handle, the effect is similar - only the agitation tends to become a full-blown anxiety attack.

Such are the wonders of pills made by some unknown genius.

That is probably what happened. This friend of a friend said he broke the pill up in two dosses spaced about 20 min apart. He likes to do stuff like this when he does a drug for the first time to test for adverse reactions.

Interestingly he did the same thing the first time he tried methylone and experienced no such side effects.

the same thing happened to swim last sunday when he dosed himself with one pill and a half but swim is confused it was his third time on it and previous doses he only did half of a pill twice in seperate occasions . Does this mean the next pop swim will have to take 2 full ? or does tolerance go back in a matter of time? and how long if it does?

if you redosed within a period of a week or two, tolerance definitely a factor. put some space between and maybe you'll only need one.

swim's first and second time trying mdma at low doses (half pill) was just like others above mentioned. it felt really annoying for a bout 2 hours then some insight later, no euphoria though. he waited aboout 2 weeks took a whole bean followed 2 hours later with a half. was great. BTW they were all the same rolls from the same batch. methylone at low doses did not get him so agitated, just didn't do much of anything. no euphoria or entactogenic qualities until past 225mgs. 280mg was best. no redose. it does hit quick he says, but goes fast too.

This friend of a friend is lucky cause 200 mg of methylone blows him away. He said he would actually be hesitant to take it at doses higher than 230 mg.

your friend is very lucky, a 3 hour ride also. my friend only ever gets maybe 1:45 with 280mgs. it's great he says just real short for him.
