Overdoing Alcohol: Most memorable occasion?

I drank a quart of southern comfort one time and gotsick. I don't drink any more (well maybe a glass of beer or wine once in awhile). Do you think everyone that drinks overdoes it at least once?

I'm pretty sure they do. Mine was with screwdrivers when I was 16. It was horrible<img border="0" src= "http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif">. I haven't drank them since and probably never will again.

Mine was with vodka -- I drank almost an entire .75 L bottle, and for a long time afterwards the thought of the stuff made me sick. Unfortunately, later on I started doing business with a group of Russians, so I had to get over my vodka phobia really fast. I forced myself to start drinking it again, and after awhile it wasn't so bad. In fact, now it's my favorite drink

That'ld be me.

Boiler-Makers @ 16 y/o.

I woke up with the worst hangover of my life. It hurt just to lift my head and the slightest sound brought horrible pain to my head.

There was one large dried puddle of vomit caked into the rug on the floor of my bedroom & another small one, near by.

I had dried, caked vomit-lockes of hair and no idea how I got them. The headache was so bad I wanted to call the for an ambulance.

That day, I managed to tough it out, but i couldn't handle a DROP of booze for another 6 months. Just the thought of drinking was repulsive. Looking back, i suspect that what i experienced was a considerable measure of toxicity.

See, for me it was totally diffrent. After that night, I was instantly an alcoholic. I loved the fact that I was so fucked up beyond belief the next morning, and I threw up all damn day, But I loved it.

Bicardi 151... Hehe I drank WAY to much straight and after I got the spins I puked. The key is pacing yourself and yes... moderation. I have never puked after that and I have never had a hang over. Also drinking water will help prevent a hangover.

Ha, I got so shitfaced on bicardi 151. My friend and I had just started drinking, so we were in that phase of drinking as much as possible. I made the big mistake of stuffing myself full of fried chicken in between cups of that crap. Puked my brains out. That night I couldn't even sleep with the lights off because it would make the room spin harder and I would have yak.

One of the last 3 years of secondary school (high school, whatever you want to call it). I finally had good grades again after some years of poor results. (The fact that I changed schools also helped a lot). So, I saw enough reason to celebrate and indulge.

A couple of beers, Bacardi breezers (yes, I had poor taste back then), var. fruit jenevers* (~20°) and probably some other stuff I don't remember. Maybe white rum and pure jenever (40°).

I only remember fragments. I rode my bicycle zig-zag and fell a couple of times. Got home at 5 in the evening, went to bed, puked a couple of times. Cleaned up (thank god for linoleum flooring)

Woke up at 2 in the morning, had a sandwich, watched a football game repeat went back to bed. I was fine the next day. Apart from some sneers from family for the rest of that week, and my friends were not too happy about it either. [] They told me I had been riding in circles, getting lost all the time. I don't know how I found my way back home.

*Jenever is the local hard grain alcohol. It is similar to gin, and maybe to schnapps.

FYI, the legal drinking age is 16 here. (It wouldn't have stopped us anyway if it were higher).

Ditto. I think it's really common and not necessarily a bad thing. It makes you respect the drug. I know I've had a few bad experiances, and I'm wiser for it. Now that I think about it, I don't know anyone who drinks it hasn't happened to. So be happy, and have one for me.

Answer : Yes.

Just except vomiting. Its gonna happen if you drink too much.

Theres ways to stop it from happening when you feel like your gonna vomit. One example is railling some coke, meth or ritalin. That keeps me from puking.

Otherwise... round your body goes where it stops nobody knows. Solidate yourself and focus.

Unfortunitly I used to puke about every other time I drank. Runs in the family, Irish binge drinking alcoholics. Now I don't puke anymore I just blackout which is even worse. The worst time I drank a half gallon of Jin and who knows what else. Cant remember the bad parts, probely the only reason a still drink. I learned to not drink stuff straight anymore at least. Genes suck.

I actually enjoy being sick during a drinking session. It's like a release.

4-5 John Smiths always make me sick. Although I usually drink Corona and Hoegaarden.

Re: Overdoing Alcohol: Most memorable occasion?

one night swim downed a fifth (750ml) of some cheap bourbon called "ancient age" at a friend's house party. it was a great night as far as swim remembers, but he obviously blacked out at some point, because he woke up the next day on his friend's couch covered in blood and with a really sore face. wondering what the fuck happened, swim stumbled to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. to his surprise and horror, the left side of his bottom lip had what appeared to be a hole in it and he had a big knot on his left cheek.

everyone else was still asleep, so swim decided to walk back to his place (about 2 miles away - swim does not have a car). for some reason, he stopped at a chinese restaurant and ordered some food to bring home with him. the girl at the counter gave him quite an odd look. later that day, swim asked his friends what the fuck happened to his face. nobody really knows for sure, though.

swim's friends left him passed out on the couch (the same couch he woke up on) to go to another nearby party around 3:30am. the only clue as to what happened was some blood near the front door. swim and his friends figure that swim got up to go outside for some reason, but instead of grabbing the doorknob and opening, swim must have stumbled in his stupor and slammed his head on something (the floor seems most likely).

swim was left with a ruined shirt and a face that looked horrible for about 2 weeks. it's almost a year later, and he can still feel the knot in his lip, which he is pretty sure he bit all the way through. luckily, he retained his charming good looks

that night really changed swim's ideas regarding drinking. he has had some tough lessons in the past, but this one has stuck with him the longest. swim is getting older and he needs to look out for himself better than he used to. he is just glad that something worse didn't happen.

oh, to make matters worse, swim got pranked because of his face. one of the managers where he works told swim the police had called looking for swim about that night. given swim's past, this was a horrible joke to play, as swim wasn't exactly pristine in the eyes of the law and was trying to stay out of trouble to get his bachelor's degree. swim got some friendly revenge, though

Re: Overdoing Alcohol: Most memorable occasion?

Swims got 1000's of stories, most of which Swim would rather forget.

Waking up in hospital/ police station (more times than Swim can remember)/ forest/ Blackpool (200 miles away, Swim drove but has no memory of it)/ next to an electricity pilon junction box behind 8 foot steel spiked fence!?/ random peoples houses flats who Swim dont know/ and many more.

Swim hasnt had a drink since beginning of december. He feels much better for it.

Re: Overdoing Alcohol: Most memorable occasion?

swim once blacked out for about a day. new year's eve 2003, swim decided he was going to do what he so affectionately referred to as "the gauntlet." the night began with swim and a small group of friends doing some ecstasy and smoking the rest of their weed. a few hours later, as the pills were beginning to wear off, swim decided to begin drinking (what's new year's without some alcohol?).

well, swim was really dedicated this night (he kept talking about how he was going to run the gauntlet). he had bought an entire case of beer for himself. he proceeded to drink beer after beer (he might have bonged a couple as well, it's tough to remember), and he did a shot or two with his buddies to ring in the new year. of course, swim did occasionally drink some hydrating fluids by mandate of his more sober friends. somewhere along the way, swim blacked out, but he apparently stayed up until 8 or 9 in the morning playing playstation with his friends and finishing the case of beer. swim has a fuzzy memory of an acquaintance coming by in the early evening of january 1st with some SHITTY weed (the guy almost gave it to them for free, but ended up taking $5 for a quarter ounce since he needed some cash).

next thing swim remembers, it's 10am on january 2nd. swim has the worst hangover of his life (not surprisingly), during which he has a debilitating headache and pukes/dry heaves every 20 to 30 minutes for about 6 or 7 hours. so, swim ran his gauntlet: ecstasy, weed, a case of beer, and some liquor. he knows virtually nothing of what happened on january 1, 2004 (his friends said he got up a few times that day), and he probably came dangerously close to causing himself serious harm. swim is older and wiser these days, but he will always look back at "the gauntlet" with a fond memory of that time in his life when things were much simpler than they seemed (and MUCH simpler than they are now).
