Shroom hunting Which magic mushrooms grow in China?

With a country as large as China, there must be magic mushrooms growing there. But which?

I think maz is thinking that since Gymnopilus spectabilis is found in Japan, that it will also be found in China. I wonder if this is a topic that a certain ex-member mycologist/pederast might have some knowledge about?

AFAIK Hygrocybe conicais (Witch's Hat) not psychoactive.

They have cows in China, I'm sure dung-loving Psilocybes of some sort grow there!

Please provide evidence in this as I know you know a lot about plants and such. I have never heard of this being psychoactive either and am keenly interested in it. From what Red Rock has heard, when ingested, it just causes stomach irritation and has no psychoactive properties to it.

Hygrocybe Conica (aka hygrophorus conicus) is a common waxy cap
mushroom. Four deaths were (perhaps mistakenly) connected to this
shroom in China, in the early 20th century.

From Mushrooms Demystified, a man Larry Stickney of the Mycological
Society of San Francisco reported that it "elicited an odd sensation of
lightheadedness and numbness" upon ingestion. This is the only report of
any kind regarding any psychoactivity whatsoever with this species that
I know of, and I have found no evidence to back this claim up.

This mushroom also will blacken when handled, which could possibly be
mistaken for the bluing reaction of psilocybin species to many.
