Injecting - other places i can inject besides crook of arm please read

SWIM wants to know where SWIM can IV dilaudid besides the crook of SWIM's arm
SWIM works and lives with parents
IV leaves marks that SWIM would not like SWIM's boss or mother to see
What are some other good injection sites for SWIM to use, SWIM has trouble finding veins
SWIM has tried using feet or hand but gets worried because the Vein always looks like its going to burst
While IV'ing

BTW, there's no need to get cynical after three days, there are so many threads some are overlooked.
Especially when they are posted in the wrong forum. Dilaudid is hydromorphone for which we have an own subforum.
Posting in Morphine subforum isn't gonna give good results.

Have you ever thought of a different Route of Administration?
For people who don't want to have track marks or who have difficulties injecting intravenous there is always the method of "plugging" which means rectal consumption.
Goes like this:
Prepare the dope like you would for i.v., when the dope is in the rig, remove the needle.
Get your anus clean ( best empty), if needed take a little vaseline for lubrification, insert the syringe into the rectum about 3/4" to 1" and push the plunger.
Due to the big piece of mucosa the dope is absorbed in minutes.
This leaves absolutely no track marks and leaves your veins undamaged.

I was wondering if anybody knows if you can inject hydromorphone subcutaniously (under skin like diabetics do with insulin) or intra-muscularly? That would be a possible solution to having to find a Vein for I V injections.

And Fearnloathing, just for the record, I have tried plugging hydromorphone and it does work pretty well. It might be a pain in the ass to do (pun intentional) but it is more effective than snorting. You follow most of the steps you would when you I V, except you don't have to worry about using a microfilter or pulling it up through cotton. It does not matter if there are chunks or binders pressent because it is not going directly into your blood stream. The easiest way I have found is simply to crush the pill, back load it into an oral syringe (no needle and usually a much bigger chamber), fill with water, insert and squeeze. After that, pull out the plunger, add more water and give it a good shake so you can collect any that may be remaining from your first shot. Insert again and bobs your uncle. Lol.
