Has Meth ruined any other drugs for anyone?

I would put this in the meth forum, but I want to hear from a larger cross section of people.

SWIM did meth for 1 year, mostly snorting with a few feeble attemps at smoking. This was his first hard drug. Before this just hallucinogens and beer-- tho lots of each.

On meth, SWIM would routinely stay up for 3, 4 or even 5 days straight, rarely sleeping more than one night in a row to catch up and, to the best of his recollection, not a single "crash," or several night/day sleeps during this year.

Now on any other stimulant, SWIM seems to be tryng to re-create the experience. He's stayed up days straight on coke, provigil, adderall and ritalin, and these are not drugs that in his opinion, lend themselves well to staying up for days on end. They tend to make one sloppy.

SWIM wonders if anyone else ever experienced anything like this.

^same here, after finally quitting the 4-5 yr long love did a bunch of other substances, mostly amph analogues, and after that very looong week it seems i blew a fuse, gaining tolerance to most of the drugs in the vincinity.

so im trying something else now-sobriety. so far so good...
