That's a very good point. If they can't get a job because of drugs, getting a job that resolves around drugs seems to be the only option - but the kid was kind of asking for it posting pictures of it on myspace. But Swim can't talk - Swim has many a time frequented the grasscity.com forums...

This happens so often. And it's so stupid. Seems like every other person who uses drugs wants to take pictures of it and do stupid things with the pictures. This is obviously a dumb kid trying to show off, though, and not a real, hardened dealer... so I'm glad they just hassled him with a 30 day "first offence" kind of sentence. The whole story would be ten times sadder if they took the stupid kid's whole life away as a consequence.

in germany, its legal to consume drugs. the posession and trade is illegal, however the consumption is legal, in order to prevent the criminalization of a quarter or two of all citizens

btw i can only advise SWIY not to have any drug related pictures on your cell or even computer since, just in case something happens to you in any way, you might have to suffer from the consequences, especially if you life in the us

Back in my highschool days, a kid dropped his baggie of weed in a classroom. Then he went back and asked if his teacher had seen it. He got suspended and got into some sort of legal trouble although I dont know the details.

I cringe at the idea of these kids actually being this dumb.

Well, I agree, this boy doesn't seem to be the sharpest brick on the tree, but I do think the whole "bomb-making materials" is a bit much. Back in the day, Swim too had potassium nitrate, gunpowder, the anarchists cookbook, but it wasn't anything sinister. He never had plans to blow up the school or what not. Messing around with that kind of thing is very alluring to a young lad. Of course, it depends on what other "chemicals used in bomb making" they found.

On the other hand, now that I stop and think about it more, this kid was carrying gunpowder in his car, what a moron.
