Differences of Heroin?? No1, No2...

Does anybody REALLY know the differences between the four different heroins?

In leaflets ect they allways tell, that there are 4 different ones.

No. 1 : the asian, white one, which just needs to put in water to solve

No. 2 : (dont know atm)

No. 3 : i think its european, brown h, which needs acid to solve

No: 4 : almost the same like No.3


I dont understand where these differences come from... when i make diacetylmorphine frmo morphine...i mean.. there are different ways, but the chemical at the end is the same!

How can the be???

i have never heard of this 4 different types deal, but if i had to lable them i would say

1. white super pure dissolves in water

2. brown dissolves in water(what SWIM has around here)

3.brown dissolves in citric acid, i belive this is not technicaly the same compond as "heroin" but a close relative

4.black tar, this has to be prepared properly to shoot.

but this is just a general statment as anything can happen with impure street drugs, once swim was sold stuff that smelled and tasted like make-up from his usuale dealer,...when placed in the needle it looked like blood.

Here you can get leaflets from the police and so on, the so called "anti-drug"-leaflets, where every drugs is listed with a picture, a picture of devices for the use of and infos about it...
and there are 4 different heroins listed... No1 to 4.

But like I said: I would be very interested, where the mtf chemical (!) difference is... normally there cant be any!

Like you said: only thing one can guess, is that the differences comes from the extenders/inactives like lactose, acetaminophen, citric acid and so on...

- As reported in the last several issues of Pulse Check, high-purity snortable South American (Colombian) white heroin is the most common type, especially in the Northeast. Mexican black tar, a lower purity, injectable heroin, follows as the most common type and is widely available in most western Pulse Check cities. Southwest Asian heroin is the least available of the types of heroin and is considered widely available only in Chicago and New Orleans. Southeast Asian heroin is considered widely available only in New Orleans, Portland (ME), and Washington, DC.

- HEROIN

Heroin is a semi-synthetic opiate synthesized from morphine.

Description

Four types of South-East Asian heroin can be distinguished:

Heroin No. 1

Crude morphine is sometimes called Heroin No. 1.

Heroin No. 2

Heroin base prior to its conversion to the hydrochloric salt: white to off-white, pale grey or dark brown, solid or powdered.

Heroin No. 3

Smokable form of heroin, not as highly refined as Heroin No.4: hard granular material from light brown to dark grey, sometimes red or pink coloured, containing 25-45% of heroin hydrochloride and other substances such as caffeine, etc.

Heroin No. 4

Injectable form of heroin: white powder with little odour and without adulterants, purity up to 98% heroin hydrochloride.

Brown Heroin

Crude heroin base: medium-brown, hard chunks with vinegar-like odour produced in a process without purification step (purity level, when uncut: 40-60%).

Black Tar Heroin

Crudely processed heroin, mainly of Mexican origin: dark brown to near black material, sticky like roofing tar or hard like coal, with a strong vinegar-like odour (purity level: 30-60% heroin hydrochloride); it appears to "melt" in the presence of heat or humidity.

Does anyone know why heroin #3 would have caffiene in it more than other types of heroin?
