I just stumbled across a great site which has microscopic images of different drugs/pharmaceuticals. They're quite beautiful so I thought I'd share:


DMT


Ketamine


Methamphetamine


Heroin

Yeah, it's a really neat site. The images make for great desktop wallpaper I think. I have ketamine up as my background right now.

Heh-heh! Saw the ketamine one & immediately grabbed it as my wallpaper. Then scrolled down... ! Nice one Bewilderment - know a few people who'll enjoy these!

(P.s. - having checked out the site have changed my mind, & now have procyclidine (artane) as me wallpaper! Although I can see it changing regularly! So to speak...)

Can you explain what you mean by these pics being whatever substance.I mean is this like a super close up of the actual substance's smallest particles and what's with the colors? or is this an interpretation of a subject on those particular substances? Maybe I'll check out the site.does it explain this?

OK so I checked the site and it's actually photos of the crystals taken with an electron microscope.I guess the colors are due to the crystals acting as a prism seperating different light frequencies.
