Sleep?

What methods does SWIY use to induce sleep while or soon after coming down from Amph? SWIM finds sometimes he can comedown at ~9:00 PM, and not be able to sleep untill 3:00am-ish. He wants to sleep, his body is tired, his mind is not racing like while on Amph, but it just refuses to shut down for the night.

SWIM tryed some OTC sleeping pills, took the reccomended dose, and found that it made him even more tired, but his mind still would not turn its lights off. SWIM has heard of people using benzo's, but ATM doesn't have access to them. Is there anything SWIY has found will induce sleep when this happens? Preferably, SWIM would like to avoid illegal substances if possible, however, he is open to ANY suggestion. Maybe there are some legal herbs or tea's?

Thanks,
-RGM

Thanks!
I looked it over, and I guess tonight SWIM will be trying the melatonin/tylenol P.M. combo.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

swim has a really hard time with sleep after amps only using OTCs. even though alcohol is really not very appealing at that point, swim has found that a beer or two can help, also warm milk, and no sodas or anything with caffeine (or cigs for that matter) for several hours before wanting to sleep

Yeah, SWIM has tried Warm Milk but that didn't seem to help. SWIM will also try alcohol, even though he is not big on drinking. SWIM also is going to try weed as soon as he gets a hold of some, because normally weed helps SWIM get to sleep, and usually insures a good sleep aswell.

Wink

weed of course! how could swim forget that? i guess she was thinking of the whole OTC thing and thinking weed was illegal so didn't fall under that category... or maybe that she was being drug tested and couldn't smoke for so long that she completely forgot about it as an option... anyway, swim is a narcoleptic insomniac (how's that for an oxymoron?) so other's remedies don't always work for her... whatever swim is rambling (had a few beers) good luck ganjaman!

Ok SWIM tried to find melotonin but couldn't, so he tried weed and tylonol P.M. It worked like a charm! SWIM reccomends this combo to anyone else seeking sleep after amph. Thanks for all your help glitterfly, SWIM would give you some rep but he doesn't have access to the rep button yet.

Thanks again,

None of these sleep remedies work consistently for SWIM. Sometimes it's easier for SWIM to sleep after amps than others. Benzos help some. Trazadone use to work, but no longer. SWIM just takes more amps when there is no chance of getting any sleep. Stay awake until body shuts down. Then SWIM can't stay awake for days.
