need quick advice
Ok so in 3 weeks my wife and I are eloping to Las Vegas to get married!!!!
What I need help with is this: I def. HAVE to have some goodies for when I am there, but don't want to fuck with ppl I don't know. I am trying to decide between mailing myself a package to the hotel a day or 2 before I leave, or just to carry some stuff on the plane with me. I'm not sure the latter is such a good idea post 9-11, but I still don't think they have drug dogs around for domestic flights do they? Seems like they would be more concerned with looking for weapons than drugs. I think the package deal sounds safer, but need to make my wife feel ok with it. What should I do??? Thanks in advance. peace, djryand |

Im not sure what kind of goodies you talking about but i guess it doesnt matter. Dogs cant smell anything submerged in liquid. If its a small amount of w/e SWID could technically put it in a completely sealed bag then submerge it in some shampoo or something of the sort and put it in you checked baggage not carry on, as x-ray will still see theres something in the bottle but dogs cannot smell it. Still risky though.
Mailing is also risky because you would need to address it to yourself in order to pick it up at your hotel or the post office. SWIM suggests a mixture of the two, submerge your goodies in some shampoo or w/e and them mail it to yourself. This way your protected against sniffer dogs and x-ray. Although there will always be some sort of risk, SWIM can vouch for this method. |

I'd agree with IHrtHalucingens -- Mailing to yourself concealed in something that won't raise suspicion is the safest way to go (though if the box were to open, someone may wonder why you'd mail yourself shampoo -- maybe something more easily explainable is in order.)
It should be noted that submersion in liquid is by no means perfect. While dogs may not be able to detect it (I have no idea whether or not this is true) chemical scanners may very well be able to pick up trace amounts of the substance and sound the alarm. The only way to avoid this is to properly wash the package and seal it inside the proper layers of plastics. P.S. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! P.S.S. Good one Kemistudent

Thanks for the feedback guys.
And LOL Kemi. thanks smartass :P Fuck yeah I'm married (W/ CHILD AHAHHA) Only now can I afford a wedding, as her cocksucking parents never offered to pay for one. VEGAS BABY, HERE WE COME!!! P.S. Think I'm going to go with the mailing route. Will use someone else's return addy, and then as far as I know I can't be held responsible for what gets mailed to me Shampoo bottle was a great idea, I'm just too scared to risk getting caught with ANYTHING where there's so much fucking security.
