Model of restraint or sign of a junkie?
SWIM was talking to a friend tonite and they were comparing notes on what they normally woke up to. SWIM remarked that he almost invariably woke up to nothing at all because he almost always fiended whatever was around the night before.
Friend of SWIM said he always kept something set aside to get him going in the morning. Now I'm wondering which, if either, is a sign of either restraint or wanton junkie-ism. Tho SWIM is known to often set aside something for the morning after, that thing set aside invariably becomes the last hit of the nite. Thoughts? - Beltane |

only swiy can truly answer that question. maybe swiy just likes life in the fast lane. swim did drugs every damn day for years, then he got tired of it and quit. the benzos were very addictive, but besides that swim did drugs just for fun. thinking back brings lots of laughs and no regrets at all. have swiy tried to quit for a while just to see how it feels? try a few weeks, if it gets hard swiy may want to put the drugs on the shelf for some time.

SWIM's done just shy of 3 years on the straight and narrow, along with several shorter and/or less severe excursions. Currently he's indulging his darker side and will likely continue to do so until he either gets a job (running outta money soon
or goes back to school and gets out of this lame-ass, drug ridden, midwestern wasteland in which he currently resides.- Beltane |
