Any way to make use of moldy San Pedro brew?

I have a friend who left quite a bit of San Pedro brew out in a large sealed bottle for 8 months at room temperature. I imagine, there's quite a bit of mold growing in it by now...

My question. Is there any way my friend can salvage this stuff? Are the psycho-active properties even active still?

the only moldy thing I would put in the piehole is cheese. if it is a significant amount swiy might consider trying to save it somehow. how? no idea...mold sounds like a pain in the ass to get rid of.

Mold is not the only concern with 8 months old brew. Throw away ASAP.

Okay thanks guys, I'll let her know. What are the other concerns though?

My laymen logic makes me wonder why throwing it back on the stove for a few hours wouldn't take care of the mold.

Ehrr, bacteria maybe? Your friend was about to pull some biological warfare on herself.

The fact that the brew has been colonised by mold, means that there is a living an organism is in that bottle. Compare it to having a rat in that bottle. Your friend can kill the rat. Cook it to mulch if she likes. The brew will still contain dead rat. Cheers!

mold can kill/make u very sick its not worth the risk, and as Alfa says there are probly other things that would be in there that might not agree with u or your friend.
