Define "Speed"

Base/Speed = Amphetamine Sulfate
Crank/Ice = Methamphetamine (Rare to find in the UK)

I would dare to say this is the general opinion of most people in England.

Unfortunately, UK 'speed' ('sulfate') is genarally very adulterated. In the Uk there used to 'black bombers' ( time release capsules) and 'blues' (dexedrine/ barbiturate combo pills).

Yep, believed to be on average 5-15% amphetamine. What sort of things can base be cut with? Seeing as it is a paste of yellowish colour.

Note: SWIM is not asking that question because he intends to cut, but to know what kind of substance the base he has taken previously is cut with.

In Holland, where SWIM lives, speed is amphetamine sulphate, and methamphetamine is calles crystal meth.
Though there isn't any methamphetamine in the Netherlands, and we only know it from the news, as a epidemic in the U.S.

speed = usual amphetamine (through, most people call it just pep)
crystal speed = speed + crystal mixed
crystal = meth (SWIM never met anyone in the EU that calls meth crank or ice, most commonly ice are the glassshard looking shards whereas crank is already powdered. people think lower of crank because its pretty easy to cut it with speed etc. - if you've got ice (can be faked too but harder) you need to crush it yourself. Also, as Ice is generally pretty pure as in the USA, smoking is widely used. crank can't be smoked that good because of the impurities - "smoking" meth is actually more kinda vaporizer (as it turns to steam after getting liquid through contact with the hot stem) and the cut usually has different boiling points.

SWIM always says crystal or meth - meth is not so widely used but somehow i like its sound. but crystal is the word here für meth because, honestly, i've never seen "crank", as there's usually only ice avaible - no problem for SWIM

if you have access to good crystal, you can cut it easily by 40% and sell it and it will still kick ass. even the worst crystal meth ever used by SWIM was easily better then pretty good speed (through, really good speed is nice as well, especially as SWIM somehow has no downs from it and its not that harsh to the nose)

@psych0naut: yeah, SWIM has access to plenty of crystal as of living near CZ, but not so much hash and almost no weed (a bit over average hash goes easily 7.5€ - 9€ per gram, depending on your position in the chain (and buying "normal" amounts.). Yes, good ol' nothing special hash.
