The Social Lock

The Social Lock

Ever since I read Plato’s words about the world of ideas and how we try to grasp these ideas and fit them in our world I was fascinated by this theory. Now in this world full of taboos, opinions, criticism, values & norms we are living today it’s very hard to keep the mind focused on what really matters. To be free, and to leave the urge of constant judging of our own and others behaviour with subjective opinions. An opinion has nothing to do with "free will". We are all trying very hard to be free and independent in this life by "the choices we make" but we tend to forget that we are not able to make the Choice of freeing ourselves of this "social world". So where does this leave ourselves: Free or very much Locked?

Now the big problem is. How do we free ourselves?
1. We can acknowledge that change can only start from within and therefore come up with the path ourselves.
2. Or we find it easier to let others do the hard work and just go with the flow, which is the usual way of handling things because the human race "grew" to be lazy.

But for the world sake let's stick to the first notion.

The mind revolution
What I like to call the minds revolution is a shift of ideology between one era of thinking and the other. This includes the whole social system to change to very other rules of play. And the majority of the society to play by these rules and not question them. Why I don't say "entire society" but rather "the majority of the society" is because it’s in the human nature to ask questions and with each system there will be people that will, like I’m doing, now question this system until we reach the highest form of consciousness.

- "For every "mind revolution" to start it is necessary to have one man or a society that is beyond the old pattern of thinking, and these people have to be fully convinced of the new pattern. These people will have to complete their work to such a degree of perfection that they will unlock every mind in one go."

In the world we live now it would have to be in one go, cause all of the people that sit on big piles of money and that don't give a damn about consciousness will stop it at once.

- For every "mind revolution" to succeed there has to be a big majority of a society that is ready for change, is in need of change or accept the new way to be simply better then the old way.

- A "mind revolution" can come over us by a "higher force" or power in the form of enlightment, The Touch of God if you must.

Now it’s easy to be the lazy one and wait for the big wave to hit you and to just ride it out. But wouldn't it be great if every one of us would be the revolutionary?

"Naturally" you would ask the people around you: "how can I shift myself to a new ideology"
Then you would already be off with a bad start, "naturally" hasn't got anything to do with it, because naturally includes opinions, theory's and most certain Logic. The only real guide line one would have is the principles of the universe that are fully proven to be the Truth. This is very hard to go by because this proof will be very though to write down.

So the real point is that I can't ask anyone about how to free myself from the Social Lock in search of the mind revolution but yet have to find it entirely and absolutely "alone".
