Anabolic steroids are bigger news every day. Under the new Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004, which applies across the country (as of January 20, 2005), steroids and steroid precursors (such as "andro") are in the same legal class -- Schedule III -- as barbiturates, LSD precursors, veterinary tranquilizers like ketamine and narcotic painkillers like Vicodin. Simple possession is a federal offense punishable by up to one year in prison and/or a minimum fine of $1,000 for a first offense. Selling steroids, or possessing them with intent to sell, is a federal felony. An individual who sells steroids, or possesses them with intent to sell, is punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine for a first offense.

If you’ve been arrested for an anabolic steroid case, or if you've tested positive for anabolic steroids, hire a lawyer who knows about anabolic steroid cases. A knowledgeable and experienced defense attorney is essential to obtaining the best possible result in any criminal or administrative matter. Few state or local police, federal agents, prosecutors, judges or defense attorneys are educated about the substances themselves or the fine points of the laws. It’s not uncommon for offense laws and sentencing guidelines to be misapplied. Moreover, the endless misinformation and propaganda reported in the mainstream press about steroids and their adverse effects has severely biased the beliefs of those in the criminal justice system. A prosecutor whose knowledge of anabolic steroids is based on what has been printed in the lay press may be inclined to offer an inappropriately severe plea, or a judge may be inclined to impose an unduly harsh sentence.

Despite the media hoopla over steroids in professional athletics, the truth is that most of the people getting arrested today for anabolic steroids are more like your friends and neighbors than million-dollar sports stars. They are otherwise law-abiding mature adults who have elected to self-administer steroids for personal cosmetic improvement, not to cheat in sports.


This is getting rather rediculious don't you think guys. First they make prohormones illegel now this new law. The sad truth is this law isn't going to do anything to stop people from using steroids.

Understood Alfa... I think that this is complete bullshit. Swim has recently started roid cycles and started serious working out right after rehab. I knnow many ppl turn to the gym as a clean up method and most, with our immediate gradification loving ass's, turn to roids once we hit that big platue. I just don't understand how steroids and other drugs that now share same Scheduling compare. Steroid dont ruin homes and rip families apart! The worst ive heard happen is ripped muscles or post roid bitch tits on a dude, or a bitch with a beard and a clit that sticks out like a lil boys penis... but not total chaos in society (and other less dramatic effects of drugs) Its already bullshit how the government it limiting or refusing coverage on certain meds with there new medicare drug plan. Yeah who here thinks that the US government especially is starting to step over there boundries and into peoples god given rights. More and more laws are being passed everyday. Trying indeed to make decisions for them and making things illegel, they may think are bad or wrong. Sigh*

There are plenty of things that your doctor can give you that have nothing to do with curing disease, for example Botox.

but i know what youre talking about, im living in romania and 85% of romanian youth wants to leave the country after they finish school. however, most of them stick to other european countries like spain, germany, italy, and come back to romania after a couple of years.

by the way, most us immigrants have to start school again as soon as they come there because most european university degrees arent recognized in the us. and in the us you usually have to work a LOT if you want to make something of yourself. (but i believe that stand for other countries too)

regarding to steroids, they do have medical use, especially for AIDS and cancer pacients, like zera said, to make them live a little longer by strengthening the body.
steroid alternatives like clenbuterol can be easily found in veterinary pharmacies, they're used to treat some respiratory disease in horses.

True, but romania is not in EU yet, im frome slovenia, and our schools are recognized, in us.I will giwe you an example, when I came to England, there was English toung so easy I couldnt beliwe, in my state I had barely 2.

Anabolics are legal to import into the UK without a prescription up to 3 months amount(whatever that is,this is where the law is shaky,exactly what is 3 months course)everyone is different so 3 months for one person could be 12 month course for the next.I believe with regards to ppl in the UK just don't take the **** and you'll be okay.
