Squat Parties

I went to my second squat party last weekend and was wondering how many people on here are into the squat scene. For those of you who don't know what a squat party is, it's a rave in an abandoned/empty building such as a warehouse or office block. They are illegal parties since it's private land but they hardly ever get broken up as the police can't arrest everyone, only the organisers and rig owners get in trouble if the police do get involved.

The last squat I went to was in an old theatre in Archway, london. The atmosphere was amazing, different people from all over Europe coming together to share a love for music and drugs. I bought my pet monkey with me and he said he found some incredible hoffmans acid and some pretty good K.

So who else goes to squat parties in the UK? Is there much of a squat scene in the US?
