Clearing your nose?

Is there anyway to clear or clean out your nose before you snort something?

My Nose is semi-clogged, however I can still pull a decent amount of air through it. I'm just worried about some of the particles getting stuck on the shit in my nose and not getting absorbed.

Generally blocked noses are caused by swelling of the inside nasal surface rather than an actual blockage. Menthol could help remedy your situation.

Well, I have a deviated septum, I was skateboaring and I fell on my nose and knocked it way out of place. I don't have the time, money, or interest to get surgery right now and the Doc said it wasn't that big of a problem. The thing is, ever since it happend (2 years ago) I've had a slighty clogged nose. Anyways what I did was just inhale some steam through my nose and take a nasal decongestant and that worked real well.
