having a massive urge to go back to the MXE (methoxetamine) dimension
AFOAF is having almost uncontrollable urges to take more methoxetamine to get back into the M-hole. She had her first trip there last night and while she doesn't feel this constant nagging urge is physical withdrawal or addiction, its more a case of wabting to experience that seriously bizzare alien dimension again..
Her ears are still ringing from last nights trip.. tinnitus it seems is amplified the day after use, but she still has enough MXE or a few trips there so what do you guys think?
Does anyone think M holing 2 nights straight would be harmful?
Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
Dissociative drugs are hard on the brain. I'd take it easy for another week or two at least. I only dig into my MXE stash every so often, keeps the tolerance down (which doesn't go away for months if not years once you build it), and keeps you relatively safe. Remember, you aren't doing a known and researched chemical. You're the one doing the research.
Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
All I can say is that the urge you are feeling is a HUGE indication regarding the beginning of addiction.
I would say from reading what I have about it that taking it is a bad idea. There are reported cases of people being hospitalized because of this substance.
Even if it was "safe" in the best of terms, I am thinking your best bet is to get rid of it and get past these strong cravings. If not you are greatly chancing the possibility of becoming an addict.....taking this substance over and over in short times has to be bad physically/mentally/emotionally.
Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
Ok thanks, that's sort of what AFOAF was worried about, just needed to check for sure.
Shame though cos she loved the experience of being totally disconnected..
She will take some dihydrocodiene or maybe give a Benzo fury a go instead, not tried 6-abp before so that could be good lol
EDIT: I was referring to leaving it a week or two, I appreciate your advice and concern about addiction but I'm not gonna throw it out dude. It's amazing stuff, don't worry, AFOAF will wait!

Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
man when swim got his mxe, he got 1250mg. when he got it, did a strong trip 3 nights in a row, then spent 2 weeks doing it about every other night, sometimes 2 sober nights would go by. finished it up with a 2 night trip.
About halfway through, the trips became highs rather than trips and swims mind was completely drained of any and all serotonin. it took swim a couple of weeks to get back to normal. 2 nights in a row seems safeish, but swimi wouldnt do more than that.
Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
AFOAF waited a week before her second trip, she doesnt like the idea of doing it more than that given how demanding it is of your brain. Also she found on her second trip she was alit more relaxed and 'in control' than first time round
Re: having a massive urge to go back to the MXE dimension
Yea as much as you very well can M-hole 2+ nights in a row (hell you can do it every day for a week if you really want to), please try to refrain as much as possible. I recently went overboard doing MXE all day going through 0.5-1.0 grams every day injecting it nonstop and I really went crazy for a bit. Almost felt like a multiple day salvia trip after a while and eventually every MXE shot gave me no positive effects and only would make me go insane for a couple hours. I imagine these effects are similar to what it's like binging on PCP (and MXE is fairly close to PCP chemically). MXE is an amazing chemical, but the more you treat it with respect, the more you will get out of it...

Does SWIM have solid reason to believe that (s)he was actually drained of serotonin? As far as I know, methoxetamine is hardly serotonergic, primarily causing releases of dopamine. Is it possible that SWIM mistook a dopamine deficiency for a serotonin deficiency? Were there any other possible causes of low serotonin?
If neither of the above, this is certainly interesting.
