One of my first tweaking buddies shot himself rather than face 15-life for manufacturing and past offenses...He was a little guy, maybe he was scared he'd get hurt. We'd seen each other get bad, get low- I left town and next word I heard he was dead. Suicide. I've never believed God takes suicides to hell, thank goodness, or I'd still be mourning- 6 years later. I remember I tried to get him to use my phone to contact his family, but he wouldn't do it. He died on the opposite coast as his loved ones. He had just pretty much played bag bitch to one of our dealers, then they broke up. He killed himself right after. I still can't believe he's gone. I'm going to cry now- it's not always o.d.'s that kill drug addicts, he used his own hands.

I have had numerous friends die from od's. The last one took vicodin and drank beer, blew up his heart. Very sad. That is why it is very important to educate yourself, and keep moderation in mind. Sometimes a good time turns into a nightmare.


Before anyone puts anything into their body, research, learn as much as you can about it, and start slowly. No sense in going to the ultimate dose right out the shute. Better safe than, well, dead.

I have also lost quite a few people to OD'ing. The last person who did OD'd on heroin. They found him lying in his dorm room with the needle still in his arm.

the night before i did shrooms i was on erowid reading for hours. whenever im trying somehting new i read about it ,and ive read about most of the things on erowid already anyways. Learning is fun because knowledge is power!

Yep. The last OD i can remember, My friend Jacob and I had just each eaten an 8th of shrooms. He started freaking out because this girl he liked was throwing a party, so he decided to drink some brandy to "sober" up from the shrooms and drive to madera. I tried to convince him over and over what a bad idea it was to drink after we had just eaten so many shrooms..but I just couldent. And the sad part is, I drank too. He drank alot more than I did, but I had 3 shots. We got in the car, and I couldent believe what we were doing. Thank whoever, that he threw up before we took off, and he parents called him an ablence..And it was over right after they got there.

i guess i nearly od-ied on alcohol when i drank 2 bottles of very fine scotch. That was really scary. But i dont know of anyone oding but i know about people that never came back from acid. Those people, some friends i had, are probably sitting at home now watching plants grow or bouncing off padded rooms. That is a reason 2 me not to do hard drugs. The risks are 2 big i find because i know what you get when you by them on the streets. I made them myself some time a go.

i dont know anyone close who ever died from od'ing but i have had 2 friends and my cousin die in drug deals that went wrong, i probably almost od'd on 2c-i i took about 140mg and had no food or liquid in me so it hit really hard. I was also in some deals that went wrong where i got pistol whipped like 4 tymes before droppin then got stomped out by 10 people, and the one before that i got shot at and a bullet actually braised my ribs on the heart side. really lucky i had buddah on my side or i woulda been ashes now.

Had a family member who killed themself after doing drugs to much. I cant think of anyone who has ODed though.

I don't know anyone, but probably 90%+ of cases I've heard of involved polydrug usage... i.e. more than one drug at a time, often more than 3 or 4 drugs at once. People don't realize that a lot of this shit in combination can be deadly.

I know of a few, but only one I knew from closeby, I guy who took approximately 100 mg's of methadon, together with some other medicines. It kind of was an accident, he didnt know alot about the dosage I think. He died while in the same irc channel as I was, saw him there alot. The last thing he said after people told him 100 mg's was too much was: " I'm fucking hardcore ". He never typed anything else. People who knew his address triedto call an ambulance but it was too late..

i had a friend go on the first of the month from dope. stupid thing was it was his 2nd timne the first time was like 2 months before and they brought him back.. sad shit.

My very good friend died last week from a OD on Heroin. He was a recovering addict and he just gotten engaged to a nice young woman he really loved. He has been off the H for a long time, but last tuesday he gotten into a fight with his fiance' and left there apartment, i guess he got himself a bag, thought he can take as much as he used to, and the next morning he was not with us anylonger. We just buried him today......


He is the only one i know who died from a OD......

Are you talking about the OD that happened on Shroomery IRC? Sad part about that one was it put a major frown on peoples faces in the OMC. IRC chat splashed all over the news. I didnt know him personally, but it was sad that such a young person would take such a risk. My opinion, he wanted to die. You cannot take that much and live thru it. Incidents like this one is what keeps us from legalizing any form of natural drug.

2day I heard 2 of my oldest friends got shot in Columbia. Something went wrong, i still dont know what....

Im really worried this means their is going 2 be a turning of the tide. Lots of my friends are in this little enterprise, they all work together. Im afraid that these arent the 1ste people im going 2 loose 2 drugs

Some one ask what drugs they lost pepole to ODs. The main OD's come from you guessed it " Opiates ".

i dont really know if i OD'd or not but i took 5 vicodins and 5 klonopins at the same time....i dont remember that night or the next few days, my friends had to tell me what all happened. also my brothers friend just died the other day, i am not sure what he was on, it was either heroin or oxycontin, he shot it up, passed out, threw up in his sleep and got stomach acid in his lungs. R.I.P.

A friend of mine took 3 Oxycontin (80mgs each) and snortedsome heroine. It was really screwed up because his mom found him. He was in his old room, sitting straight up in a chair with his eyes still open in front of a desk. She also found a mirror,pill bottle,balloon and some other stuff. Man.......

Actually my grandmother committed suicide by eating a lot of pills, don't know what sort though. She had parkinsons and had lived a very hard life, with alot of domestic abuse and alcohol, so I guess I can understand her decision. R.I.P.

I've lost 3 friends by OD. It's strange...one day everything is nice and glad....the next day I'm sad...they are not here anymore. Two of them died a heartattack after they used to many coke.
