j/k, it is usually an off-white to grayish heterogenous powder. becomes slightly darker w/long term storage.

Swit was told me that it is granular and brownish in color, brown sugar looking. ^^^ if so; yep, you have ho.

There shouldn't be an odor to PURE 4-OH-MiPT. But as it degrades from improper, or long term, storage, it may develop an indole-like smell. One like bad perfume and shit. Ditto for many indole-based compounds.

swim says no real smell to it. your description of granular consistent light brown 4-ho-mipt sounds spot on like your basic description of any potent 4-ho-mipt swim has experience with.

I would recommend placing it in a vial and storing it in the freezer. 4-HO-MiPT is notorious for breaking down quickly.

proper 4-HO-MiPT stored at ambient temperature and protected from light exposure does not degrade in appearence or potency to any notable degree after over 2 years, or so one heard.

to determine the proper tint, try holding against a pure white piece of paper. a Pantone scale helps as well.

your description of 4 ho mipt sounds like a sample i have seen in the past. It may have been slightly degraded but not much.
also i have never heard of 4 ho mipt turning into a brown goo. SWIM held onto a smaple of miprocin for about 6-8months without any loss in potency. The sample was kept in a amber glass vial in his drawer.
I think you may be thinking of the first sample of 4 ho det that surfaced around 2000 and people were reporting that after a couple months it broke down to goo.

So enjoy you miprocin, its defintely a gem.

The stuff was good, I tried 20mg, felt the come up quite immediately. There was a strong and pleasant body buzz, mental trippyness and sound distorsions. A really nice high and I think that there is a strong potential hidden in this chemical.

I had 16mg 4-ho-mipt that had been left in a gel cap at room temperature for over a year. It turned from white to dark brown. But when I ingested it, there was no noticable loss in effects.

It is not the strongest RC on the market, matter of fact it has one of the more mellow RC effects. Swim took a picture of it and sent it to erowid, but they never published it. But swim's was very dark brown rocky substance. It is a great buzz because it lasts for only 3-4 hours and has a pleasant calming effects. Swim has heard placed in a dark cool place the stuff will last at least 3 years maybe more still going strong.

Well, mellowness is quite much due the dose. Miprocin (imo) is one of the strongest psychedelics available, when you get to 50mg doses, it is a heavy, heavy trip.

SWIM has seen it as both a medium grey and also a more tan-ish grey color.

Oh erowid has a photo of 4ho-mipt. This forums' photo gallery has its cousin 4ho-dipt. Both are good photos to give swim an idea of what to expect from the RC vendor. Very rarely do RC dealers mix up drugs and send swim something other than what she ordered. This swim has been buying RCs since 1998, not on one occassion did an RC vendor send swim a mislabeled product in nine years. So if the RC vendor says it is 4ho-mipt, it probably is just that.
