Try kava. It's just like weed, except with less side effects. You can buy it in a vitamin shop or a health food store. The good thing about kava is it doesn't need to be activated by heat. This meansyou can just take the pills orally, no need to smoke them. (If you took weed pills, they would have no effect.) Taking pills is safer than smoking. This one isn't anything like mj (it's an upper), but I thought I'd share it with you anyway: Ginkgo. Don't laugh! I love ginkgo, it's one of my favorite drugs. Be careful which brand you buy. If you buy Ginkgold by Nature's Way, you will get a nice high. If you take any other brand of Ginkgo, you will feel nothing! You take the pills for this one, too. Buy it in a vitamin/health food store. |

A Herbal joint with a mix of Tagetes lucida (Tarragon) and Nicotiana rustica produces a clear high and is mildly psychoactive. A strong Tagetes lucida tea is said to produce similar 'closed-eye-images' as peyote. In ceremonies, the Huichols Indians from the Sierra Madre mountains have visions by smoking herbs in combination with the consumption of fermented Tarragon tea. |

Tagetes lucida (Mexican Tarragon) is a beautiful bright green perennial herb from the Sierra Mandre Mountains of Mexico that is used by the local Indians, not only in the kitchen, but also recreationally. Mexican Tarragon has a very mild anise flavour and a sweet taste. In Mexico, it is traditionally used as a tea to calm stomachs, relax nerves and to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover. But it is also used as flavouring for harsh Turkish tobaccos. Tagetes lucida has been used since pre-Hispanic times. Many properties are ascribed to this plant. In the Nahuatl language it is known as yauhtli. <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> <!-- nopopups(); //--> </SCRIPT> |
