Guns are not dangerous, Only the people that use them. Evan people with mental issues tend to be more dangers to themselves then to others but then it does happen. This was a tragic event , love to all those lost and there families.

I wonder if the rave culture is different out west than it is in the east coast. The whole after hours thing goes on here, but it much more concentrated. An after hours party usually consists of a fully stocked bar, live dj, and a massive amount of people.
I don't think this guy would have gotten so many shots off at an after hours here. There would have been some dude, just like him waiting for someone to get stupid like this dude did, and in his glory taken the dude down. (there always seems to be 1 or 2 of those guys standing around at the after hours parties. I always made it a point to say whats up to em and feel em out a little, instinctively I guess.. I always tried to get a feel for the room before throwing down, see what type of vibe was flowin. |

Although i am a non-violent person i am also a gun lover. I like to go shooting and hunting in designated state regulated areas with legal registered guns. Guns are not evil things, just very powerful and to weak minded that power can be overwhelming. A gun gives the carrier the power to take lives, and some people just cant handle that kind of power. Guns and drugs are very similar, when properly educated, people can use these tools constructively and safely.

Guns are without a doubt dangerous, I think IHrt was just arguing that they could be used safely. What I am wondering is, how can guns be used constructively? It seems to me that guns are destructive by definition.
Edit: Oh, you were talking about Alicia. |

I carry a pistol. Legal where i live. I found a constructive, or artistic, purpose: I shot my TV set during a Bush speech (as I had before during Reagan winning in 1980).
But i was VERY careful. I choose the ammunition that would explode inside the target (TV) and not continue further through the wall and into someone else's place. The Corpus Delecti now dwells, deceased, on my deck serving duty as my outdoor coffee-table. Along with the remote. |

hehehe! Nice find Alfa!
I think this whole incident is sickening and makes for a good argument for installing metal detectors on the doors of everyones homes. You never know who is a whack job and who isn't these days. Very sad, my condolences to those effected by this tragic loss of life.
