Grandbaby, if you know what forum this guy hangs out at and read some of his stuff, you'll find he is just reckless, and tries to convince others to be as well.

I know the forum -- haven't been paying much attention to it lately. I defer to your assessment... I know the type.

Back on the DOX's being fatal... SWIM doesn't think the chemical itself can cause the death, but surely what someone does while on the chemical is a major concern.

This past year, a friend of SWIM's was drunk off his ass and drank an unknown amount of DOC that was diluted into some liquid. He was climbing trees repeatedly and jumping down from a considerable height over and over, breaking car windows, running out into traffic and evading arrest. Eventually the police were called and they found him in a field picking Daisies. He was FUCKED up.

SWIM knows the alcohol + DOC did it, producing a state of utter delirium, but try and place yourself in the Cop's shoes... They didn't know what the fuck was going on and probably wanted to stop this madman before he hurt himself or others.

They probably thought he was wet up or something. SWIM's friend assaulted officers many times and he's lucky he didn't get beat to death. SWIM's friend's friends had to explain to the Cops what was going on so they wouldn't shoot him.

DOB has already caused fatalities, so to think that DOC, DOI etc will not seems like optimism in the face of reality to be honest. Some of the immature people going in for 'I can take more than you' mentality should be informed in a butally harsh way that their sort of bullshit isn't appreciated on any forum because of the danger of encouraging other immature idiots to try and 'top' that dose. Personally, I think a lot of them are most probably out & out liars about the dose they take in an attempt to seem like they are 'the man'. The example of the kid who took 100mg of 2C-E and said that he didn't think it was active below 50mg is, as has been mentioned, either getting heavily cut 2C-E, has built up a massive tolerance from repeated doses all with 1-2 days each or is full of shit; no matter how much of a hard head you are, there's no way that 30mgs isn't going to have a fairly profound effect if you have no tolerance. OK it'll blow some people away much more than others (I've seen a friend completely lose it on 10mg while I was heavily, but comfotably intoxicated by 17.5mg).

The sooner the balls drop on these macho bullshit kids, the better it'll be all round for everyone. For those who take foolhardy doses, but don't have the 'excuse' of being young and stupid, you have to wonder who they actually take the stuff with. I mean they'd most probably be the most irritating example of Homo cerebrovacuous you'd ever wish to encounter, never mind actually trip with

I only wish there were a way of testing the common sense & intents of people trying to obtain such potent psychedelics without the vendors leaving themselves open to prosecution for selling compounds they know (in law, not in common sense) are destined for human consumption - it would save a lot of pain all round...

Hear, hear. Unfortunately, many of the vendors seem to share the same lack of sophistication and concern as their irresponsible clientelle. Here's just a few of the rocket-scientist level marketing techniques I've seen lately:

Sending bulk advertising emails to people who've never ordered.
Selling scales and tiny baggies.
Advertising goods for human consumption, with links to Erowid.
Advertising on Google, post Operation Web-tryp.
Advertising on MySpace.
Selling illegal and/or potentially illegal substances.

So, maybe the people who want to become vendors should be required a "common sense" test as well...

Either the moron who wrote that report had some 2c-e that was cut, or it was something else, or he trips 7 days per week, or he's on antipsychotics, or something. For all intensive purposes we can't even assume it was 2c-e. Erowid should add to their little warning there that it isn't even verified the substance was 2c-e.

Some people are like rugs. They should be taken out back once a month and given a good beating.

Rest assured - if/when we find these idiots around this forum, they are dealt with quickly and finally.

On top of the problem of the vendors being stupid themselves, they're in it lusting for the money, and they really don't care to much who they sell it to.
