Setting - Mushroom Use in Parents' House?

SWIM has never tried shrooms. SWIM lives with his parents. Now, if he were to consume 2.5g of dried mushrooms in his room at night when his parents are asleep, would he be able to stay quiet and not attract the attention of his parents during the trip? what kind of precautions should SWIM take if he decides to try this?

Someone wont be able to answer that question because we dont know how you behave when you trip. If you gave us a lil more info about your previous trips, also make sure your in a good mood.

2.5g is a moderate dose. You should be ok. There's no guarantees of course.

with mushrooms there is always a chance that you will burst out in laughing, maybe even several times, and you might not be able to stop laughing, and if it is your first time, if i were you i wouldn't do it near your parents. just do it when they're gone, or do it with a few friends in a beautiful environment, somewhere in nature. i always have the best trips in nature.
there is a chance that your trip might not be pleasurable when you know your parents are in the room next to you, so the best thing is to do it in a nice environment, where you can't be disturbed by anyone unwanted, like your parents.

Swim would agree with big-lester that you should put it off until you can use them without the worry of disapproving eyes catching you in the middle of it. Having as little to worry about as possible will make things a lot more enjoyable.

if you live with your parents... do not take mushrooms i the house by yourself... its pretty possible that this is a negative ennvironment for a first time... you should be outside with friends... preferably ones who also are tripping

actually to be honest here... i would say if you can manage you should get a very private location... get with a few people (mostly female prefferably) and just eat shrooms and get naked. not sexually... well... necessarily that is.

SWIM would try and find a time when he could be alone or with friends. Tripping with the fear of being too loud, etc. would just cause a lot of stress.

And for the record, SWIM has seen some very experienced trippers do crazy things off a normal dose. A lakeside party in northern MN a year back included one person climbing to the roof of a neighbors house after downing 3.5g and some Yag just so he could scream "crackers" repeatedly, at the top of his lungs. And people on mushrooms are apparently very long winded.
