Is it possible?

Is it possible to detect THC in oneself if you are around the plants? Touching them? Smelling the fumes? I don't mean burning fumes, just the odor from the marijuana plants themselves?

I wouldn't imagine so. Perhaps if you're really shoving your face there and are around the plants for hours and hours but I still see it as highly unlikely.

I guess what the Question is, is: Will I Flunk a Drug-test?

Touching Marijuana does not allow it to enter your blood stream. So the answer to this is NO (unless you like to lick your fingers).

Sniffing Marijuana, however, actually absorbs something into your nose. I once took several large whiffs from a one-pound baggie of Train Wreck (at a Med Pot club). I felt something, call it (maybe) a quick High. I probably inhaled some Kief, and it absorbed into my sinuses.

But, if the question is about a Drug-test, this will probably NOT be enough to actually Flunk it. It takes a decent amount of THC to come up to the amount needed to Flunk the Drug-test. This has discussed in another Thread (or 2).

Misterother, assuming you are not familiar with marijuana as Solidly-here was mentioning sniffing "train wreck" and getting a contact high from pure bud, the plant's you were sniffing was most likley not as good as what he is refering to, train wreck is very high potency weed and as he explained it was in a bag most likley already broke down to just bud's. I would have to say the chances of you actually failing a drug test by just sniffing and touching the plants are very unlikley. You surely couldnt have got enough NG to throw a drug test off even if u did have a little in your system, inless ofcourse they were on fire lol. Just my opinion.

I would have to say that it would be very unlikley, another factor we have here is what stage of growing were the plant's in? THC is produced mainly in the last stages of growing. From just smelling and touching I would have to say you didn't get any thc in your system at all honestly, Although Hypothetically if they were in the last stage of growing and you went and shoved your face into them and rubbed it around on the bud's you still probably wouldnt have enough thc in your system to be detected, test allow so many ng and i would doubt u would have enough ng from just contact to throw a drug test. Just my opinion.
