Oral use - valium (Diazepam): Any advice for use?

i have recently started using (abusing) valium and i love them normally 25-30mg. i know my street drugs very well (21 year love affair) but i haven't really had much to do with scrip drugs. I am 35 yrs old and would like some informed opinions, I am a lot healthier now than i used to be (gave up cigarettes 3 yrs ago smoke a bit of pot and the odd bottle of bacardi.) I took a lot of drugs as a teen up to about thirty yrs old(lsd, speed, e, coke and skunk) but i've mellowed a lot in the last 3-4 yrs. if anybody out there could give me any dire warnings or don't worry that's cool stories i would be grateful
