no effect salvia divinorum

Took 5 hits of 15x extract throught a bong. New bowl every time, used almost half a gram, no effect. The first hit I felt a LITTLE pull, nothing more, lasted a minute max. I feel gyped, whats up with that?

That's the problem with salvia, some people reach great effects, another people are bored....


Try once again, perhaps with a stronger extract, but be careful, 15x is already really strong.

Buy your Salvia somewhere else. 15X is madness. 5X or 10X should definitly do the trick. 15Xdoes not give a stronger effect. You only need less, which makes it harder to dose. (0.13 grams is small) Also make sure that your using it right, which is not a simple thing to do.

Hit the bong hard, everything was ash after each time. Held it 30 seconds or longer, let it out slow. Sound right? Is there a wall I got to break through?

Well, one of my friends is a salvia-hard-head too, and it just doesnt work for him. But who knows, you might have bunk shit, just try getting from other stores/sites. If you bought it from a smoke shop, then its probably bunk, everytime i buy from stores, its so fake, like i buy 15x and its like 2 x or something, i buy 20x, expecting the craziest, and its like smoking whole leaf or something, websites work best for me, especially ebay.

id get it form an online place. i had a little trouble getting a "breakthrough" for a while, but when it worked i did the following (btw it could just be that u need to do it more, ive read the more u do it the greater the effects):


used a bong


filled a somewhat small bowl with 10x. (bowl was even overflowing)


took one huge hit-- i would forget taking 5 hits. i would just take one gigantic one and hold it as long as u can.


then what happened was i got the familiar salvia feeling, and while my trip slowly began, the details of which i will not begin to describe, in real life (or fake, i dont know salvia has confused me a whole lot) i fell forwards face on the floor.

make sure ur using some kind of butane/torch lighter, too. and hold the lighter on the extract the entire time-- this is because it needs to be a very high temperature for the necessary chemicals to burn.

Remember too that salvia is a very sacred tool. If she feels you are not ready to experiences her, you will have trouble doing so.

Another problem with salvia is that the extracts are non-standardized. The best thing to do is search for a reputable vendor online.

Salvia chooses whoever she wants to. Your intentions are so very important when experimenting with this plant. Think about why you are using Salvia. For personal growth and spiritual enhancement? Or to get another quick buzz? I find users of other drugs often are doing it for the latter, which is a shame and perhaps why this wonderful plant will eventually become illegal. Respect the plant and she will react with you however she chooses.
